Wanted to start by saying the boba here is great; good variety with both fruit teas and milk teas. I had the yogurt mango tea and I loved it; great flavor and presentation (came in a panda cup, what could be better?). The store itself is similarly charming. However, I was thoroughly unimpressed by the service. The kiosk used at the restaurant has online service charges and there is an active discount for paying with cash, so I decided to order at the front. It took some time for a worker to show up, and they seemed inconvenienced for having to take my order. He didn’t talk to me and instead motioned for me to use the kiosk. I tried to explain that I wanted to pay at the front using cash. He didn’t seem to understand. Fortunately my partner speaks mandarin and was able to work things out, but he still reacted very passive aggressively and inconvenienced even after overcoming the apparent language barrier. It is completely understandable that some language barriers existed, but I felt that me and my partner were disrespected and no attempt was made to communicate with me or to show any customer curtsey to my partner
I have to make a comment about this store. I made an online order via Recipo and scheduled a time at 5:00 pm to pick up. When I arrived, they only made one cup of tea and argued that I picked up late. I arrived there around 6:30 pm. I have to say that’s okay. I don’t want it anymore. I would still pay for it…..
Ordered hot match creme brûlée and got cold matcha with cold taro instead which made my stomach unsettled 😅 please correct me if the this is indeed how this drink is supposed to be and the description on the menu was wrong
