I go here at least once per week. Not only does the coffee taste better than any other coffee I have tried, but the service is impeccable due to the owners’ friendliness and professionalism. A solid 5/5 stars.

Best place to get your morning coffee in Sewickley, The coffee is of the finest quality. Frank and his staff are upbeat and welcoming serving it with a smile. I'm hoping La Gourmandine pastries will be available again shortly.

This place is a gem! Best, and I mean best, like ‘you will never want another fancybucks again’, kind of coffee. Frank rotates blends and I feel like I’m getting a coffee education as I go. Hot, delicious coffee every single time. And lots of other treats to try too. Don’t miss this diamond of a place!

The coffee is outstanding! But you MUST try a pastry during your visit. Warning - buy the bread and you will become a regular! Frank is a delight to talk to during your visit. He truly takes pride in serving amazing coffee and pastries.

This review refers to the food and the tea here. Tea is mediocre.
The pastries are from la gourmandine, which sounds fine, until you find that they might be a day old and they might be two days old. If you care about patisserie, you know that it must be fresh, above all else. Not good.
They serve Millie's handmade ice cream, which again sounds good, but both single-serving tubs that we ordered had actual freezer burn. Maybe this isn't the fault of the cafe, but either way, not promising. We've been back twice, to try each of the aforementioned items. We won't be back again.
I chose 2 stars because I was told by a friend that the coffee is quite good.

Hands down the best coffee stop in Sewickley. The staff is friendly and will greet you every time you step in their door. With a rotating selection of beans, you're guaranteed a fresh cup every day. Even when I wasn't drinking coffee for a bit, their tea selection never let me down. Hungry? Their selection of pastries and vegan snacks and meals will please your taste buds and fill you up (my personal favorite is the Soba Noodle Salad). Go ahead! Stop in! You won't regret.

Amazing coffee, and even better deals. Sure there isn't any logo on the cup, but we are there for the flavor. They also get some of the best pastries in the area. Try them out if you haven't already.

Have had time recently to stop here and wow I’ll never go anywhere else. Simply amazing.

Terrible. We ordered a medium and a large mocha, and got a small and a medium. But that's not the worst of it. The drink was just awful. There was so much syrup, all you could taste was sugar. There was no chocolate flavor at all, let alone coffee. They may as well have given us two cups of warm simple syrup. I couldn't even finish mine. I threw it out. I doubt I drank 1/3 of it.

Frank the owner is one of the best I’ve ever seen at providing a friendly face, great service and very carefully curated local products at a price that can’t be beat. Place is small but a complete gem. If you like great coffee don’t you dare go anywhere else
