Rock 'n' Joe Coffee (Penn Ave)

Nice little cafe downtown.
Their menu is sizable offering a good coffee selection, snacks, treats and sandwiches.
There is sitting room inside as well as a few tables out on Penn Ave.
It is a bit expensive, but I suppose that's to be expected given that it is downtown.

Very nice looking coffee bar. Love the ambiance. Reminds me of an old coffee store there used to be in Milwaukee. The staff is friendly and the spot on Penn is perfect. Located close to the Marriott. Within walking distance of lots of interest points in downtown Pittsburgh.

Loved this little shop! We stopped here on our last morning in the city and the coffee and atmosphere were great- loved the upstairs loft. It was busy but not crowded for as popular as it is

Great service, amazing place. Yummy coffee with lots of latte flavors to choose from! Amazing staff, 125/10, so sweet and helpful and patient helping you to pick your latte flavor. A barista named Victor served me and I couldn't have been happier with my experience or the quality of my latte. Sure to be back!!!!!

This is the absolute best coffee my sister and me have ever had. The raspberry mocha latte is so good that We walked all around Pittsburgh, across the bridge, and had to come back to get a second one before leaving Pittsburgh. It’s so smooth and the raspberry doesn’t taste artificial at all. I actually had the pumpkin latte the first stop in which was also super delicious but after trying my sister’s raspberry latte i knew I’d need one of those! We also split the blueberry crumb cake for breakfast which was yummy. The service was fast and friendly even when they were busy and the atmosphere is so cute and was quiet with nice music and ambiance, especially the upstairs lounge area. We haven’t stopped talking about it and how we wish there was one in Greenville, SC and Chandler, AZ since being back.

Stopped in yesterday prior to the Pitt football game. We had the "Nutty Irishman" frozen and the "Raspberry White Mocha" frozen and both were great. The baristas working were very friendly and answered the questions we had. It's a nice comfortable atmosphere and the upstairs area was empty so we sat up there to relax. I believe I've found my coffee stop for when I'm in Pittsburgh.

Good coffee, haven't had any food but looks like good selection of breakfast fare, muffins etc al. Nice friendly staff. Upstairs very nice place to sit.

Delicious latte! Nice little place, usually fast service. Seating is available upstairs as well. Good place to work on your laptop or read a book with really good coffee.

Good coffee and the sign is not green. Nice people, nice place to sit and it's very clean.

Shh, don't tell, but Rock'n'Joe is my new favorite coffee shop. Yummy treats, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere make this a great place to stop next time you're downtown.

There's seating upstairs with an outlet at every table along the railing. Larger tables in the middle are great for meetings/group work.
