Best coffee in Pittsburgh. Freshly roasted whole beans and probably over 100 different kinds of flavors and locations. They often stock beans straight from small farms in Guatemala, Rwanda, Haiti, and many other locations. The Haitian blue coffee and blueberry cobbler are particularly amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and makes great suggestions. I can't attest to the tea, but if it's anything like the coffee, I'm sure it's fantastic.

Incredible selection of coffees and teas- hundreds of varieties of every grade, type or geographic origin, and possibly more importantly, the staff can expound knowingly and authoritatively on each one and make cogent suggestions based on your preferences or past experience to suggest wonderful and sublime teas and coffees .
Rarely have I seen such a marvelous purveyor of coffee and tea. There is one place in Amsterdam that has been in business since the 1600’s that is their only real competition in these categories.
Wish I lived closer !

I have been buying coffee from Prestogeorge for the past 6 years. Every other week, I stop by and buy my fix of freshly roasted single origin coffee beans. I have never been disappointed. Occasionally, I tried the other roasters in town. No one comes even close to Prestogeorge when it comes to freshness, quality, and price.
The staff has always been nice and helpful, the beans are never stale, and the sandwiches are worth a try.
If you are looking for a place where people know their leaves and beans and won't charge you an arm and a leg, this is it.

This is a great place to pick from a large variety of coffee and tea and buy in bulk. The brick and mortar experience was better than buying it online since you can sample some of the offerings before buying a whole pound. You have to pay to park, so it might not be worth a trip just to come here unless you really like coffee.
The signage was not easily visible and we nearly walked past it on our way to the shop.
The interior is pretty tight quarters and was a little tough to navigate with two small children.

The staff are all very personable and knowledgeable about the products they sell. A huge selection of coffee that smells incredible. There were five employees trying to help my Dad find the right coffee that he was looking for. Amazing service!

Love the coffee. Have frequented the store for years and the customer service was always excellent. Have recently started ordering online due to construction in the strip. Have been thrilled with the promptness. I get my order two days after placing it. Customer service at it’s finest.

A very good selection of tea at amazing prices. We have made several purchases online and the shipments were always very quick. The staff on the phone has always been very helpful when something we want was out of stock. So when we were visiting Pittsburgh, the natural instinct was we have to stop by! Right?
Well, the in-person experience was less than impressive. The system made sense, take the jars of tea you want and bring them to the staff to weigh and package. That's where the problem came in. The weighing countered were packed with jars of tea. Some jars were stashed so high up that we thought it would be wise to ask for assistance, but the man seemed annoyed that we had to ask him to get a glass jar that we couldn't reach. When he asked how much tea I wanted, I had to repeat myself 4 times. I understand that the music might have been loud or masks make understanding each other a little difficult, but the whole interaction was very uncomfortable. Another lady doing the weighing was also impatient. We asked for 4oz of tea, and as she was weighing, she stopped at 3oz. and asked "are you sure? This is a lot of tea" yes ma'am it is a lot of tea because we dont normally get to visit, and we have tea-loving family. Also, 4oz is the standard size you sell on your online shop I don't know why you are making such a big deal of it being too much.
The cashier did brighten up our visit at the end. She was very friendly and efficient, also patient when my credit card tap wasn't working.
Overall, good products, subpar service with the exception of a few. Just use their website, it would probably save you some gas and parking and headache.

This is one of my favorite places to get loose leaf tea. They have flavors I have never heard of, so it is fun to try something new. I am not a coffee drinker, but the aromas in this place are awesome,

Yesterday I picked up 1 pound bag of their Morning Buzz, whole beans. This morning I took 2 Tbsp of beans per cup, gave it a medium grind, dumped it into my coffee press, poured in 210 degree water and let it sit for 2-3 minutes stirring twice.
First off let me tell you, the creamy, rich and nutty aroma from these whole beans is just incredible.
Finally, this has to be one of the best brews I’ve ever had! I’ve experienced quite a bit of coffee from big chains like Starbucks and Peet’s to smaller boutiques like Black Rifle Coffee Company and Death Wish, to various Fair Trades that you pick up from Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s.
This brew tastes exactly how it smells! It’s creamy, rich, nutty and LOADED with caffeine. This is a great addition to the start of your mornings!
Morning Buzz - get yourself a bag, you won’t be disappointed!
