Niche coffee spot with some fantastic interior design and a very thoughtfully crafted coffee menu. Great patio seating too! You can either get your coffee to-go or sit down and enjoy a wonderful sunny day in Technology drive! They've also got packaged coffee. Don't forget to try the Espresso Tonic - tonic water, vanilla rose syrup and espresso over ice! Highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back soon!

De Fer's breakfast sandwich on English Muffin is TREMENDOUS! Add on one of their delicious coffees and you're bound to have a great experience, especially with the friendly staff. A bonus with the coffee- if you order an 8oz hot coffee, you get free refills while you dine in! The environment is relaxed and bright, and they have wonderful outdoor seating as well. (Plus a restroom, which is always a bonus!) Great location right on the river!

Also, if you're looking for freshly roasted whole beans, this is a great place to pick up a 12oz bag! Using their Mapendo Natural whole beans in my pour overs has produced what very well may be the tastiest coffee I've ever experienced. Can't wait to check out all their locations around the Burgh!

Don’t miss this gem! Stopped here after a bike ride on the South Side and had the best iced lavender London fog! The steamed oatmeal was way better than your ordinary. Staff couldn’t have been any more friendly and helpful.

Another good location for a great local shop! Plenty of seating and room to settle down and work. The coffee is just as good as it is at the original location.
Not far away from the Eliza Furnace trail and plenty of bicycle racks.

Tad bit pricey, but really good quality stuff. Super knowledgeable and passionate about coffee!

I love the atmosphere at De Fer, and going to the Highline location is a great way to spend an afternoon!
