Relaxing atmosphere. Great selection of fresh handmade cookies and breads to add with your smoothie or coffee. There are seats offered so you can relax and have your drink. The staff is very knowledgeable and wants to make sure you have the best experience here. I purchased the salted caramel latte with banana bread. So good.

A very cozy, lovely, comfortable and clean cafe in Shadyside. I live nearby for years and didn’t realize this place until today.
$2 drip coffee is amazing. Rich flavor and strong aroma. I ended up buying a bag of beans, and they can ground it for you.

Miso chocolate chunk cookie is a happy surprise. This is the first time I see miso being used in a cookie. And it tastes so well. It gives the cookie some salty flavor and reduces some sweetness level.

Cannot wait to try other drink and cookie options.

What a great find! 🌟🌟I was traveling to Pittsburgh and needed a healthy, local and fresh breakfast. The smoothies, banana bread and lattes are delicious and crave-worthy.
Beyond the yummy food options, I really liked the barista who is so happy to chat and offer great suggestions to meet your palate’s mood.

orderd cappuccino and iced latte around opening time. cappuccino was rich! friend had the latte and regretted ordering it iced. hot latte would have been better for sure. overall great amosphere but no laptops allowed on the table. we were planning to work there for a bit but landed up having coffee to go and work somewhere else.

I had a salted caramel coffee and it was delicious. My only concern is it's not handicap accessible as I'm in a wheelchair and had to sit outside. It was a beautiful day today so I didn't mind. Nice place to chill and have a good coffee. Organic taste yummm

Nothing like ducking into a coffee shop for that first time and getting spoiled from the get go. I lucked out big time this morning on a cold windy day in the burgh. Centred Coffee is a special oasis to get what you need & take with you or better yet enjoy in the beautifully thought out & comfortable environment that made feel as though I was more in someone's living room than in a retail coffee shop. Could I be in Paris or Rome relaxing in a neighborhood cafe? Maybe. Let yourself be the guide. Come relax. Enjoy a cuppa with a baked goodie. Share a conversation with the barista who is knowledgeable, amendable to making what you like, knows coffee and a great resource on local roasters and charming to talk to! I had great drip coffee for $2 that put that St****k place to shame. Think local, support local. Come try this place out! Thanks for grinding my beans from RedStart beans I bought.
