Awesome coffee and teas! Delicious pastries. Love the Sunday brunches!

I really like black forge and have had a bunch of great coffees from here and I love the vibe, but today the barista and customer ahead of me spent over 15 minutes talking about the neighborhood grocery stores, parks, rent etc. instead of taking and making their order. After 20 minutes the barista finally asked for their order WHAT?! Insanely frustrating. I understand wanting to be friendly but I cannot wait forever for a coffee after 20 minutes I left no latte ๐

Fantastic atmosphere, great coffee. Got the Dutch Treat and a Ritual Rites, both were absolutely delicious. Even picked up a bag of whole bean coffee for home.

Staff seems really hit or miss, some are really friendly, some not paying attention or not at the counter. When I went in today nothing but their specialty drinks had prices, which is really inconvenient. Iced latte that I got was ok but not one I'd specifically go back for.

I visited Black Forge after living in the area for a year and it's really cool! I only stopped by to stock up on some coffee beans and what I grabbed was really delicious. The vibe is really fun, as a guy who's into metal, but I could certainly see how it might be off-putting to some of that isn't your scene. The decor was fantastic and their merch seems high quality. I'm definitely grabbing a Tshirt next time I stop by. Parking is a little difficult, but if you go slightly further up Arlington, there's usually open space.

I come here often since itโs my closest coffee shop. I love the heavy metal interior design of the space. The music isn't my thing, which is totally fine, of course--it's what makes this coffee shop iniquity it's own. I just pop in headphones if I order in.
There's plenty of seating. The bathrooms are clean.
All of their signature drinks are dense and decadent. I sometimes do it up and add CBD to my drinks which gives a nice calming sensation.

Really cool little coffee shop. Their specialty drinks are tasty and conveniently priced at $6.66.
We purchased the Dragonaut and the Thunderhorse. Both were excellent without being too overly sweetened. Kinda funny that a metal themed shop would have signature items that include 'tiramisu, white chocolate, toasted marshmallow' but... they go really well with the coffee.
Also bonus points that while we were there, they played the entirety of Iron Maiden's "Powerslave". My wife patiently waited until the end, because I wasn't going to leave without listening to "Rhime of the Ancient Mariner".
Only downside is, tricky to find parking but... will definitely go again.

The coffee was delicious and there were a variety of good breakfast food choices. I have the blonde salted caramel bar. Awesome!
