Coffee was so good! And they have really good music.

Super aesthetic lovely shop, and good ratings gave me high expectations. 5 stars for aesthetic, 1 star for taste.

Ordered a basic cap and it was terrible, comparable if not worse than a cappuccino from dunkin. Had more milk than a latte (too much milk) and frothed poorly, better off ordering just a shot of espresso.

Beautiful corner coffee shop. The smell of coffee will lure you in. Different hot/cold coffee options available. Flat white, cortado and cold brew are my favorites. Mobile order & pick up available.

I live right around the corner from this cafe. And it is hands down the best coffee I have ever had. It is smooth. absolutely no need for sugar. full bodied with a distinct molasses flavor of its own. You should try it at least once, so that you learn what coffee should be.

One of my favorite coffee spots in the Rittenhouse area. The ice coffee is very flavorful and smooth. The pastries are nice too. Always good music playing.

Coffee was good and the staff was pleasant. The outdoor seating around the space was a bit foul smelling and smokey, could have just been the wind that day blowing the roastery smoke back at us.

Tried this place with others. Those who got coffee ended up throwing it out, they said it tasted too weak for their taste. I had a chai, but found the balance of spices to be off - I appreciate strong spice in the chai but it tasted unmixed (even though I mixed it well), which is usually a balance issue. They also couldn't accommodate my request for light ice, which was disappointing - I don't mind less product if needed, but I don't like having a ton of ice due to temperature sensitivity. The store itself looked cute but we won't be back.

I told the owner Steffan that my favorite hot chocolate besides Swiss Miss is Dunkin..he told me to try the hot chocolate at his establishment and I was blown away by the rich taste of the chocolate. I can't wait to try the other flavors. I also enjoyed the images he makes with the machine as he's pouring you a cup. It made me feel like I was getting an exclusive cup made just for me. Cute place if not a wee bit drab. Counter girl was friendly and helpful. I bought a bag of their whole Expresso beans which came with a medium size drip coffee (The 12 oz of beans were just under 20 bucks so I don't know if that drip coffee actually classifies as "free").

And this is why I only gave three stars: I immediately came home and ground some of the beans, dropped them into my mocha pot, and brewed up some coffee. It was nearly as flavorless as DD coffee. I suspected the flavor might be lacking when I noticed the beans appeared very very light and dried out. The bag was dated yesterday, so either the date is inaccurate, the beans are just low quality, or they are roasted incorrectly.

The drip coffee was fresh but also nearly flavorless, although in this case it was definitely better than DD. I believe if you are charging 20 bucks for 3/4 of a pound of whole beans, those beans should be top quality.
