Review of Poppy's Coffee

Poppy's Coffee: A Cozy Coffee Shop in Chestnut Hill

Poppy's Coffee is a small coffee shop located in the Market at the Fareway in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. The coffee shop is known for its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The shop is open from Wednesday to Sunday, with varying hours each day.

Poppy's Coffee offers a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, nitro cold brew, and flavored lattes. The coffee beans used in the drinks are of high quality, and the staff takes pride in making each drink to perfection. The shop also offers tea and other non-coffee drinks for those who prefer something different.

While Poppy's Coffee has received mixed reviews from customers, many have praised the coffee shop for its friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Some customers have noted that the coffee can be a bit weak, but others have raved about the unique flavors and quality of the drinks.

One thing to note is that Poppy's Coffee is only open for limited hours each day, so it's important to check the hours before planning a visit. The coffee shop is also located inside a market, so it may not be the best option for those looking for a quiet place to work or study.

Overall, Poppy's Coffee is a great option for those looking for a cozy coffee shop in Chestnut Hill. The friendly staff and high-quality drinks make it a great place to stop for a quick pick-me-up or to catch up with friends over a cup of coffee.

We wanted two teas. The person serving looked put out to serve us, as they were stacking boxes. The teas cost $7.50 (for two teabags and some hot water..??) my wife’s tea was lukewarm after she added a bit of milk, so I went back and mentioned this to the person serving. He grumpily took the cup without saying a single word, or apologizing, and just added more hot steam to the cup, then handed it back, again without a single word. As far as customer service goes, this was just an incredibly bad experience, he was very rude.

We go to Poppys because it's nice to go to Chestnut Hill from center city, but the coffee is always a little weak. I asked for a dbl shot in my cappuccino but it was still too weak. I wish they had stronger coffee because it's fun to go there.

Great coffee cute location and the customer service is great! 10/18 Updating my review because I must say how absolutely delicious their pumpkin spice latte is! 🎃 their pumpkin spice blend is homemade and you can tell the difference in quality! Sorry Starbucks you don’t even come close!

I love this coffee shop in the fareway! I've been going for a couple years, it is consistent, friendly, and quick. Amazing selection of drinks, coffee beans, and tasty treats. Try the brown sugar cinnamon latte!

Their nitro cold brew is always on point! Thanks for keeping it affordable and fresh. It’s the perfect pick-me up.

Poppy's Cafe is a cozy, family friendly coffee shop. The coffee on tap, espresso drinks and nitro cold brew are all quite tasty. There's plenty of options - even for non coffee people which is a plus. The staff are extremely kind and put their service first.

It's a nice alternative to the Chestnut Hill Coffee place that closes way too early. With coffee just as good, and a pleasant atmosphere of the market too.

The brown suger cinnamon latte was the best. It's a must try when you're in the area. 😋

This surprising little coffee counter tucked inside the market has an array of high quality espresso drinks and nitro cold brew. It's my destination now any time I'm in the neighborhood.

Good coffee, I tried hot latte and cold brew lavender coffee.
