Staff was wonderful & the food is good but this place is extremely overpriced even compared to other local cafes. I got a lox & bagel, 2 slices of banana bread, & a small coffee & my total was $30 before tip. Absolute insanity.

Delicious and cozy. Upon entering I was transported out of the busy into a warm, quaint and rustic setting. With industrial elements and lots of natural colors this one stop coffee shop served up a delicious breakfast. The atmosphere was quiet and easy to work in. I had the French toast. It was crisp, soft and fresh all at the same time. One thing I did not get to try when I was here was the coffee! Next time.

I ordered the Sausage, Egg, Cheese Croissant from this place once a week but yesterday I found a one inch black screw in my food (see photo). I looked more closely at one of the sausage patties and there was a strand of black hair stuck to it, as well.
Response to owner: It's not a nail, it's a screw, but yes, I'm also curious how the screw got into my food from your establishment.

We landed here one morning looking for a vegan breakfast and were not disappointed. My husband and I both ordered the vegan breakfast burrito and it was amazing! The crispy hashbrowns in it were a game changer. Coffee was excellent too! And they have a great variety of vegan baked goods from crust. If you're looking for a cool spot for your vegan and omni friends who like good food and coffee, check them out!

I pre-ordered breakfast and a drink this morning on my way into work, and I got caught in traffic, and it absolutely made my morning that they waited to make my latte until I was in the shop, so my drink would be hot and fresh and the best it could be. It was great! Have loved all of their food and coffee options every time I have a chance to stop in.

Waited 50 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. They then told me they messed up the ticket and I had to reorder and it would not be quick to get my food. Then waited another 10 minutes to get refunded while they got new customers food

I am very sad to be writing this review, because I've been coming here for over a year. This used to be my favorite place; the coffee and the food are both awesome. Unfortunately their ability to keep up with demand has just gotten worse and worse. The nail in the coffin for me is the way they handle call in orders. There is zero system to handle these orders. You still have to stand in line to pay and wait for your drink despite having called it in. I had people that came in to order leave minutes before I did as a call-in. The staff are really nice, but obviously super overworked and without the resources and system in place to help them.
I see your response and I disagree. I support many local businesses. I can just expect to have my food and drinks in a reasonable time and the order isn't wrong/missing items. If feedback from your longtime customers is "this isn't good," maybe "nah we're perfect" is not an adequate response.

Got only one small piece of bacon on my sandwich along with a small slice of the butt of a tomato. Just ridiculous how expensive this place is and is such a rip off. I expected much better from such a popular and well known place. Will not be going back and spending my money there.

I lived in Nolibs for a while now. I had no idea one shot has a second floor.
The second floor is so beautiful. Perfect place to chill and have a coffee this winter. Stop by and check it out. Good coffee, nice people.
Hate the music choices they put on sometimes tho. Like the last thing I want to hear when chilling getting coffee is “Yeah” by usher or other 2,000 r&b.

This would be one of my favorite coffee shops ever if they would be more accommodating to their customers.
First off, the space here is one of the best in the city. You can choose outdoor seating, a lively cafe atmosphere indoors, or a quiet, secluded space upstairs that is ample in size and has super comfy couches for reading and lounging. The upstairs is my favorite.
However, they have a $10 credit card minimum. To me this is unacceptable in 2017. With merchant companies like Square and technologies like Apple Pay, there is no reason to not accept digital payments for all transactions. Ditch your legacy high cost credit card processor and move into the 21st century. Lots of people share my sentiments on cash payments, and you definitely lose business because of this.
So now that I've been forced to spend a $1.50 fee to use your (in)convenient ATM machine to buy my cup of coffee, you don't offer a refill price for customers that wish to have their ceramic "for here" drip coffee mug refilled. Again, lots of coffee shops do this. So now I'm only going to have one cup of coffee, and move on, instead of 3 or 4, which may have worked up my appetite to buy a snack (= more $ for business) but instead I left.
This would be my go to coffee shop probably on a daily basis if they were more accommodating with their payment acceptance policies. I can get over the no refill price, although there should be one.
So overall a great coffee shop with an awesome selection of seating and atmosphere, but with archaic and crappy digital payment and refill policies.
