The espresso tasted off... A lot. Sorry... I was looking forward to it.

This location is in a convenient place. Service was fast and friendly, and coffee was good. Even though it was pretty busy, there is actually quite a bit of seating. The waves of crowds seem to come and go, but I feel like personally even though there is the seating, it might be a bit busy to work or study here. But, definitely a good place to stop in for a coffee.

Best Latte in Philly. Great atmosphere. Nice staff. Coffee and tea options are on point

waited for over 20 minutes to use the only bathroom there. I was concerned about the person inside and my daughter really needed to use the bathroom, so I knocked on the bathroom door. The staff harassed me and resorted to calling me names and yelling at me because I knocked.

Myself and two of my friends (all young women) went to this place for the first time as we were staying in Philadelphia for a conference. For this conference, we each needed a vaccination card or a negative Covid test within the last 24 hours to attend and be served food. We were aware of policy in Philly and had no issues at any other restaurant we attended. We recognize the coffee shop had signs for vaccinated customers to eat inside, but we assumed that our friends negative test would be suitable for a 5 minute coffee stop (since the hotel accepted it). My friend was turned away because she only had a negative Covid test and told she had to leave immediately. Myself and my other friend were not given the option for to-go coffee, and my friend had to stand outside by herself while we chugged our coffee as fast as we could to be with her. She was harassed by a homeless man while she stood outside and was really frustrated about the situation, especially since every other restaurant was completely understanding. I understand there is a Covid policy, but the ladies at the counter could have been much more understanding and cooperative with the situation. My friend was so embarrassed and the fact that she had to stand outside alone is unacceptable as a young women in a new city (and they knew we were together and that we had never been here — we told them prior to ordering). Very disappointing and we will not be back to any of the locations.

One of my favorite coffee places. Best flatwhite coffee.

Their center city location is right across from City Hall. Tho not as big as their Fishtown spot, the quality of the coffee is still there. While it can be pricey, it is worth every penny you pay. I don't think there is better quality coffee anywhere else in the city! In addition to amazing coffee, the service was excellent. I walked in to a line that surrounded the store and still received my coffee less that than 10 minutes later. They also try to be as sustainable as possible by offering metal stirring spoons, glassware, and only providing to-go cups and lids if you need/ask for them. I can't wait to go back!

Hit or miss depending on who works here. One time I ordered a draft latte, it had way too much foam, (literally 1/2 was foam) which I know isn't right so then I asked if they can remake them. The staff at the time made it sound like it's completely normal, when it is not.
I know people can make mistakes what not especially if they are in training but please be honest to customers. I know a latte should not have 1/2 foam (It's like saying 1/2 foam is normal for beer).

Good coffee and service. Prefer the older interiors and cups but understand why they might have switched for easier upkeep and such. This one is less distinctive and feels like it could be any modern coffee shop. Not distinctively La Colombe.

I stop at La Colombe for coffee every morning before work. The line is almost always absurdly long but it moves quickly, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. They know the regulars and often go out of their way to have our drinks waiting for us by the time we get to the register because they’re cool like that. I’ve heard people complain that their coffee is too expensive but honestly it tastes so much better than what I get anywhere else in the area and I’m down to support a Philly-based business.
