Funky little coffee shop serving coffee, tea, and breakfast sandwiches. The lavender peach green tea was perfect for a chilly morning. The breakfast sandwich on an Italian roll was enough for two people or a hearty appetite.

I stopped in for a quick breakfast while in the area and was really happy with my experience. I got the potatoe, egg, and cheese on a bagel & my partner got the pepper, egg, and cheese. My sandwich was larger than I expected, and tasted great. My partner loved her sandwich as well.

Both of our drinks were served up quick & both were super tasty as well. The staff was friendly & we hung out inside while we finished up. I'll definitely be returning!

Grabbed a Steak, Egg, & Cheese on an everything bagel- off the grab and go this morning before work, & it literally melted in my mouth. This was hands down the best breakfast sandwich/bagel I had in a while!! Absolutely delicious, thank you Home Grown!

I loved coming here! The inside is so warm and welcoming. It is a small space but great for a couple people to chat or to come alone. They have so many flavours for lattes and I tried the banana chocolate and it was amazingly delicious. The service I received was so friendly! I wish I was in South Philly more often so I could try it all the time.

My go to spot in South Philly for iced coffee. The owners are super nice and welcoming to customers. The staff is always pleasant. Before I moved to the area, I would go out of my way from Fishtown to come here to get my fix. Highly recommend.

Cute spot but the coffee was horrendous. Worst $6 latte I’ve ever spent money on. I never waste coffee but this was just not good.

They have the most delicious bagels I’ve ever had in my life haha. I always get iced americanos and they are delicious, even without sugar and cream. Doesn’t taste all watered down like at a lot of other places. But the strong espresso taste is good and doesn’t have that cheap coffee after taste. I can actually sip on it and enjoy it.

UPDATE: Been coming back after a generous gift card. They've got a new system down where they're making the drinks as soon as I come in to pick up sandwiches, it's like they're off to the races a soon as they see us coming down the street. Thanks for the effort! Legit, best breakfast sandwiches.

I've been loving Homegrown ALL summer long. But to be honest, the coffee side has just fallen apart. Whether we order in store or call ahead, the coffee is always a 10+ minute longer wait. The girls forget to make it, or are just standing around while you stare at them, or they just talk and you're not sure if they're going to make it at all. Today was the moment where I realized I can't do this to myself anymore. Got our sandwiches & tots, they forgot to make our coffee. The food was ice cold by the time we got our coffee. And this time, even the coffee was not good. For $27, I'll just start trying new places, because it's been happening literally ever since the summer ended. This was my favorite spot, but it's ruining my breakfast at this point.
