G I Dayroom Coffee Shop

I have always made this a stop on my trips along the GAP trail. They serve an amazing breakfast and are super friendly. I can tell why it is a favorite with the locals.

Breakfast done to perfection! Coffee kept warmed up continuously. Couldn't ask for more :).

Good food, if limited selection. Inexpensive! Service is excellent. Ambience is 60's. If you're not looking for fancy, recommended.

A trail favorite and a local legend. You gotta try this for breakfast just to have the experience. My friends from Johnstown that I fish with insist we start our day here. Not a health food place but lots of hearty food to carry you through a long day on the trail or the stream.

This stop is wonderful. The restaurant is spotless. Immaculate. Kudos to the staff. Breakfast is spot on. Perfect.

love the breakfast combo (pancakes, smoked sausage, etc) sooo much that I frequently make the 64-mile round trip to Meyersdale from Cumberland just for that meal!

5 hungry bikers on our way to Cumberland on the GAP trail stopped in for some great home style cooking. Delicious!!!

Small town America and all the good that comes with it. Honest food served by honest and caring people. Could not of picked a better place for lunch.
