Down to Earth Café

Great atmosphere and service. Excellent food and coffee. The owner was really customer-focused. My wife said they have “cute mugs” and highly recommends the power breakfast sandwhich. I had a coffee cake muffin that they offered to warm up and it tasted amazing. Will definitely be coming back many times over. You won’t be disappointed!

Mechanicsburg has needed a proper coffee shop and cafe like this for years. The food is delicious, and the menu is small enough that food always comes out quickly. The coffee is always perfection. Every single employee is super friendly. It does get a bit crowded, but that's what brings the place to life. I can't say enough good things about this place. Everyone, including myself, wishes they were open on Sundays so we don't have to give any more business to Starbucks. This is my new regular coffee spot!

Stopped in today for the first time to grab some food to go. I got a breakfast sandwich, some delish banana bread and a chai latte.

Loved everything and everyone was super friendly. Even though it's a bit bigger than your average cafe, the vibe was...homey.

I really like this little cafe. I’ve been here 3 times now. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. I have had the acai bowl, peanut butter bread (or was it almond butter - I don’t remember) and this time I tried the Turkey Brie panini. I typically don’t eat sandwiches but really sometimes you just want a Turkey sandwich and it was tasty. The location is easy to find and the sun shines right in there. Oh I had a chocolate chip cookie too - they even warmed it up for me!

Delicious baked goods and coffee. The London Fog was so good and the oatmeal raisin cookies are absolutely delicious!

Highly recommend this place! Created by one of my good friends with the greatest coffee and food Ive ever gotten from a cafe. Employees are super friendly and get your items out in a timely manner! I went 3 times in about 5 days! Highly, highly recommend and will definitely keep coming back.

WOW. 🤯 I just visited for the first time today and let me just start with the vibe. The warmth of the decor really makes you feel at home and brings a calmness even though it was absolutely hustling and bustling. Some older gentlemen were having their coffee while reading the morning newspaper at the bar. There were people socializing as well as working. I took it all in. I felt like I was living in some lovely movie scene. Onto to the rest…from the INSANELY incredible latte (best I’ve ever had in my life) to the impressive and truly appreciated number of vegan options, it was the best day ever. I am so blessed to have such a phenomenal place so close to home! Visit asap. Get a lavender latte with oat milk. You’ll think you’ve died and gone to Heaven. And you’ll never get coffee anywhere else.

Beautiful cafe with excellent service, tasty treats, and great coffee. I'm a plain iced coffee kinda gal, and theirs is quite good. The muffins are fantastic, and the toasts are yummy. The staff are super friendly, the inside is cute and cozy, and they also have outdoor seating.

I tried the oatmeal with steamed milk and fruit topping- loved it! Seating includes a variety of tables and couches/chairs. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
