Mandelbrok's Cafe Restaurant

This was my second time ordering from Madelbrok's. First time, I ordered through DoorDash, my honey mustard salad was not bad, could have had more chicken. The second time I ordered, I called 20 minutes ahead for pick up. When I arrived, the young man was still working on my salad, they didn't appear to be busy. Didn't throw a fuss, just waited patiently. I saw that he had tossed on olives that I requested against and then had to go through the salad to pick them back off. Once I got back to work with my salad, I ended up picking off the cherry tomatoes because they were very squishy not appealing in color. No banana peppers as my first salad had. For an $11 salad, it was pretty disappointing. You can go to Valenza's for about the same price, their lunch special comes with about the same size salad, side of and a loaf of homemade bread for under $11.00. On a plus side, they did add the extra chicken I asked for.

Yesterday was the first & last time I will go to this place. If the only issue would have been our order taking almost an hour rather than 30 minutes (twice the amount of time they gave when it was called in AHEAD of time), that could be understood during the lunch hour. I wouldn't take the time to even make a review based off of slow service alone. However, the attitude and service from the staff was quite disappointing and compelled me to make others aware. Rather than be apologetic or even simply friendly, it seemed as though our business was an inconvenience to them. So dont worry we will not be back.

Ordered a blueberry crumble cheesecake for my husband's birthday... It was delicious beyond what I could have ever imagined. I have loved every single cake and cheesecake I have ordered from them; no doubt I will order from them again.

It was very good. Had the scrambled eggs, sausage and cheese wrap. It really was a whole wheat wrap. Blueberries and lemon scones were good too. Unique little place.

Great at what they do whether copy, print or feed you! Had a couple custom specialty cakes made by Dawn & the crew for an important client function. The Cannoli Cheesecake & Tiramisu cake were a huge hit; amazingly done & out-of-this world delicious!!! 😋😋 Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'s plus a bonus ⭐️!!

Good food, good staff and generally a nice place. Unlike most Meadville area restaurants, however, Mandelbrok's picks and chooses which COVID19 mandates it will follow. Staff do not wear masks. That's particularly disturbing when food is delivered to the table and they hover over the plates. It makes me wonder what other food safety requirements they choose to ignore. Sadly, I will not return.

Food is awesome, but when they can't count and only give you one sandwich instead of two it's pretty disappointing.

Rather delicious sandwiches, but I stopped visiting and even doing carry out from this store, since they do not require employees to wear masks. Disregarding common sense during a surge in COVID cases represents a serious lack of respect for the health of customers, employees, and the community itself. It also leaves one wondering what other basic health protocols they refuse to follow out of convenience.

OMG if you are a cake lover, this is the place for you! Maddie is lovely and the cakes, oh the cakes, (especially the coconut cake) is out of this world! Freshly baked, made from scratch and the very BEST part is it is not too sweet! The cakes can be pre ordered and the bread is simply DELICIOUS too! Thank you so much!
