LOVE the new Black & Brass location in Hamlin – it is the perfect stop – just outside of The Hideout and on the way to Scranton. They have really great coffee & treats. A wide variety to choose from, plenty of parking and very spacious inside. A great addition to Lake Ariel/Hamlin.
So I typically go to Starbucks to treat myself. Well not one for 20 miles here. Stopped by this place and just as good! Had a caramel cappuccino. The ambiance is beautiful. Reminds me of industrial meets steam punk. Comfortable couches, friendly staff. This is my go to for a treat while in the area.
Coffee was cold. Server looked way over stressed. Absolutely not her fault but there was no staff except her. Who is managing this place to put such stress on their workers? Girl gets 5 stars but whoever runs this place 1 star.
They have really good coffee, but I traveled about 20 miles to the one near Hamlin . It said it was e store open online, but when I got there they said they will be closed for months . So I called the main number for the store and they told me they would correct the Website, but needless to say that never happened. Not sure if I will ever go back if they can’t keep their word
Good little coffee shop. The coffee is quite high quality. My kid also ordered a hot chocolate which apparently was delicious. We also got some baked goods for breakfast, they were adequate and refrigerated. The place has a cozy feel to it, I like it and would go back next time I’m in the area.
Highly recommend the white chai latte! Location is a little off the beaten path, but it’s a great stop after visiting the claws and paws zoo. The staff were very informative, sweet, and helpful. Never had white coffee beans before and they were delicious.
Such a nice little coffee shop with great flavor selection, delicious pastries, and high quality coffee. They sell gift baskets and apparel, so glad this place is here!
Honestly the menu was very delicious and I loved the aesthetics of the place, however, the staff was the problem. We are Asian, and while we were ordering the staff gave us an attitude, but the moment they took orders from an American white guy, they treated him very well. The attitude change was so instant that we were baffled. In general, the menu there was good, and I would go there again if only the staff would change their attitude towards a customer's race and ethnicity.
Nice clean spot where they make you actual fresh coffee, cappuccino and lattes. They even have the different roasts on shelves and great merchandise to choose from. Modern and clean spot to stop at in the morning or afternoon pick-me-up. Number one spot to go where it isn’t mass produced and expensive.
Love the coffee and the staff are super friendly. I normally stop by once a day but I've cut back and started buying the coffee to make at home. Darling dark and French roast are amazing
