My lady and I frequently grab breakfast here when we are in the Kutztown area. They have great breakfast sandwiches and my girlfriend says they have the best iced coffee around. The Bagel Bar is top notch!

Bagels were good, great amount of cream cheese spread on. Breakfast sandwich was ok gave me awful heartburn. I wish you could get a dozen of bagels same day instead of ordering day prior.

Every time I come here something is wrong. Either the forget the drinks or they take thirty minutes to make the bagel. Once I called ahead so that I could get to class on time and enjoy the place but they didn’t have the bagel I ordered so instead of calling me back they just didn’t make it. So I waited an extra thirty minutes and was late to class. Just tried to stop in for lunch and all the girls that worked there were running around like crazy cleaning stuff. They are open for another HOUR AND A HALF and didn’t have any bagels to serve. How are you a bagel place and run out of bagels??? I don’t know why I keep trying to come back here it just blows. Worst breakfast begal I've ever had. Begal was small not toasted. Egg was a pre-made patty. Bacon was as thin as 2 pieces of paper. The cheese I don't know. You would think a place called the begal bar would nail a begal. Their website doesn't work to order from androids. Their coffee must be amazing to make up for the begals , but I'll never know.

Slow inefficient service.
Could be because of memorial day weekend.

Bagels are ok, piling cream cheese on doesn't improve a middling base.
The limited time gyro bagel sandwich was delicious though.

Although it is slightly overpriced, this place is my go to for breakfast. The bagels are fresh and there are plenty of options and combinations with the menu. The staff used to be better and more friendly, but it does not take away from the quality of the food and my overall experience.

It’s a guarantee I will stop here almost every weekend. They are always serving fresh delicious bagel sandwiches and great coffee drinks.

Really sad breakfast sandwich. So stingy with the bacon I couldn't actually taste it. Most breakfast sandwiches contain enough bacon that it can be tasted without anyone having to order extra. I get the impression that offering to let people pay significantly more to get too much bacon is something they're used to doing. There must be complaints on a regular basis.

I'm very fond of Deitsch Eck,where they care about quality. I am certainly looking forward to researching the best breakfast sandwich in the Kutztown area, however.

This is probably my favorite breakfast spot in Kutztown. The bagels are delicious, and the different menue options are creative and tasty. There's also a pretty extensive variety of coffees. I recently had the "Breakfast in a Cup" blend. It was an amazing cup of Joe full with flavors. I would highly recommend!

My roommate and I decided to check out the Bagel Bar Café after getting a few free drink coupons during an event on campus. When we went, mid-morning on a weekday, the place wasn't busy with a few people already seated and taken care of. We placed our orders, received our bagels, and went to sit down after the girl told us that she would bring us our coffees. Well, we were about done with our bagels when I got up and asked if it was a self-serve, since it had been over ten minutes since we had paid. She said no and that she would drink them right over. Three or four minutes later, she arrives with our drinks, not apologizing for having clearly forgotten about us. To make matters worse, she had entirely messed up my drink order. I received a frozen beverage instead of a hot one, and it tasted terrible. But, not wanting to wait until ten to fifteen minutes for a replace, we decided to leave. This place, I feel, could be enjoyable to go to... but certainly not if that particular person is there. Neither my roommate or I felt welcome and instead were treated disrespectfully. We are unlikely to ever go back.
