Lake Wally Cafe

I've only be here a half dozen times with my cousin, but the wait staff and the food are exceptional beyond words. I recently lost my Mother and the 1st time I was here after that Jes made me laugh and feel good again.

Talk about an awesome place to get food!

The atmosphere was quaint and comfortable. The ladies there were courteous and kind. Service was prompt and there was no wait!

While the coffee isn’t anything to write home about, it’s not bad! It came quickly and with cream (exactly how I like it).

Now here’s where this place really hits everything home: the food. Not only do they have good menu options, but also it’s delicious—and at an amazing price nonetheless! The blueberry pancakes were filled with blueberries, fluffy, and big. The batter they used had just a little sweetness which was delightful. It came with a LARGE bottle of syrup, which, of course, made my day. The bacon was cooked to perfection (in my opinion, a little flop and a little crisp). The home fries were good, but the sweet potato home fries is where it’s REALLY at. My wife loved their veggie omelette. Their toast, which is basically Texas-toast-sized toast, was crisp and thick with just the right amount of butter. I’ll be ordering some of that ASAP!

Basically, this is like grandma’s home cooking at a really great price. Tip well, because it’s on you if you leave disappointed. My wife and I will absolutely be back here again!

My husband & I had breakfast for the first time here and it was very tasty. My blueberry waffles were delicious. I would visit again once I am in Hawley. I would recommend this cafe.

Family of 5 went here for brunch after tee ball. Service was not great, very rarely checked in on us as we were waiting for food. Took about 40-45 minutes to receive 4 orders of eggs and 1 order of blueberry pancakes. Once our food arrived (not at the same time, they served the plates as they were ready, very odd to me?) They gave the wrong plates to two of our party and ketchup was put on top of the eggs and they had to remake the eggs for the right person. The omelette came back quick but was missing half the ingredients ordered inside. They served sides of sausage and bacon without serving the meals with it, just kept coming to the table randomly with more things. Forgot the toast for one member. All of this was annoying but not worth one star right? The last and most upsetting part of our experience and the reason we will never go back was that they served my 4 year old raw pancakes, not once but TWICE! We sent them back because they were raw in the middle, so they remade them and they were worse the second time. To the point that I gave him my breakfast and went without eating because at this point we had been there over an hour and just wanted to leave. The only time the wait staff was attentive was at the end of the meal cleaning up our plates. They must have come over 5 times in 10 minutes while we were eating asking if they can take our plates for us. It was an absolutely horrific experience and we definitely will not be going back.

Fantastic service and food

Stopped in before soaring eagle for a roll and bagel. Took a ride and came back for lunch. Great menu and food. Glad we stopped. Great staff.

Excellent breakfast cafe great waitress food was very good lots of breakfast choices. Would definitely come back.

After 6 years living in this area, I ordered 4 classic cheeseburgers to go, today for the first time. My kids, and myself, enjoyed every single bite. The cheeseburgers were DELICIOUS. Will definitely go back and not sure why I haven't tried this place out earlier.

The food was delicious, the biscuits and gravy weren't my favorite but everything else was very yummy. Perfect spot for pancakes after early morning fishing on the lake
