I met someone here for brunch. I got a breakfast sandwich and an iced coffee. The food was so good. I could tell the eggs were fresh! And the coffee was great! Not too strong or too weak. The atmosphere was great. We sat and talked for about 2 hours. Great place!

I arrived 10 minutes before closing and asked if I could still order food knowing they were soon closing. The owner, as I supposed him to be such, came out and grated me and graciously accommodated my request. I asked to be surprised, which usually scares people. And while he was a bit nervous at first, a sparkle came to his eye and he knew just what to make. That has to be the best mushroom burger I’ve ever had. I’m sure he had no idea that I don’t like mushrooms generally but the taste was so exquisite that I would rejoice to eat it again. In fact, I’d say it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had period, of any kind. Thanks for the great meal and the genuine hospitality!

This is my favorite Cafe in my hometown because the owners and employees are very friendly and there hours allow me to meet friends and chat in the evenings. It's also family friendly and the food and service are great! The atmosphere is extremely pleasant. The building dates back to the 1800s and it offers a rustic, historical atmosphere with country and a couple modern items in decor.

I love this place!! The food and drinks are amazing! The ponytail guy is very attentive and personable and the guy with the grayish hair makes you feel like you belong and is an amazing conversationalist from what I've observed. Everytime I go here I feel completely at ease to sit/recline on the black couch (my fave spot) and chill for hours. I totally recommend this place to hangout with a friend or simply get away and rewind in a non judgemental, welcoming atmosphere.
This cafe deserves 5+ stars!✨

Breakfast and coffee was wonderful. Love the old stone architecture. An original old structure. I was told down the years my grandfather use to go there when it was once a tavern. That makes it extra interesting for me. Back in the old days.

I had breakfast at Stone House Cafe this morning. And I’ve gotta say, their portables, onion and Swiss cheese omelettes was one of the best omelettes I’ve ever had. I look forward to going back for lunch soon!

Great food in a wonderful atmosphere. The food was carefully prepared and wonderful.
The portions were good sized. Not excessively large and certainly not small. It is nice to find a place that serves reasonable sized potions.
I had a Cubano sandwich which was perfectly grilled. The flavors were excellent and the bread crisp and warm. Only thing I did not care for was the mustard (personal taste) which was not listed on the menu description (the owner plans to correct this). But even with the mustard this was a great sandwich.
My wife got the Garlic Shrimp Quinoa which was excellent as well.
The lunch menu was not huge, but it was a selection of unique and wonderful sounding dishes. We look forward to trying some others.
They also have a large selection of coffees and pastries which we did not try this time.
The atmosphere was quaint and warm. And the place was spotlessly clean. The old stone house with wooden beams give it a pleasantly rustic and welcoming feel. The outside dining area was well laid out and there is even a small covered area that looks charming (my picture does not do it justice)
The owner was friendly and helpful and the staff were very pleasant.
Prices were reasonable.
Bottom line, it is worth the drive out from Ephrata to visit. We will be back.

Super friendly people. Cute little café. Clean. I came with a large group and that didn't seem to bother them. They were very nice and got everyone their food at about the same time and everything was hot. The food was really good too. Would definitely recommend Stonehouse café for a tasty meal with friends and the friendly environment

Dec 2022: The atmosphere is charming and inviting, however the temperature is not ideal. We originally found a table next to a window, but moved because it felt drafty. I would hate see their heating bill! After we ordered at the register, we received our drinks in a few minutes which was a great improvement from our last visit. The food was quite tasty and nicely presented. Portions were good and prices reasonable. My wife and I ate for $30 with a coupon that took off $5. I increased my rating to 4 stars.

Jan 2022: The decor is nice,, but the are temperature was a bit low and we were basically chilly throughout the entire meal. We waited 30+ minutes to get drinks, which is not good. Although we received several apologies due to lack of staff, we feel the drinks of the current customer should be completed BEFORE taking the next order, especially since there was only one person behind the counter. The food came out ~40 minutes after ordering (the chef expressed personal apologies to us and several others), but it seemed to be a bit average quality. I doubt we will return.

One of the best burgers I've ever had and my friends shrimp quinoa looked very good with loads of shrimp. Beautiful historic house too.
