Happened to get to work early, so decided to try this place out since I work down the street. Not only did the workers help me out with deciding my order, but the girls also introduced me to a flavor combination I would have never thought of otherwise, AND also had some food options that I havent been able to enjoy in years! 10/10 recommending this place and definitely don't put down a suggestion until you try it first. Aegis could change your life! Oh, and do not miss out on their Panini's either.

Great local spot in DuBois that we fell upon during a long drive. Aegis Coffee Roaster has a cool ambience with an old bank vault that is really cool. The smell of their own roasted coffee sets the mood right away. Tried their latte and a grilled cheese. The latte was so good I went and got a bag of beans to take home. The kind gentleman working there was also extremely polite and helpful, he clearly took great pride in their work. Highly recommend checking them out, you won’t regret it.

It was a bit hard to find as the sign is so small but the coffee shop is very unique, being an old bank. The turkey panini was very good and the plain coffee was good but the flavored coffee was too heavy on the syrup. Also, the hot water in the bathroom doesn't work.

Great coffee and great service! I love that they keep the history of the bank it used to be.

I absolutely love this little coffee shop. Since there's no Starbucks around at least they have a little coffee shop that has amazing coffee. And good food

Made the mistake of going to this coffee shop 10 minutes prior to close on a Saturday. There were 2 girls working who were clearly frustrated we visited at that time, maybe close earlier then? 4pm is already pretty early to close on a weekend. Note, we left them a $9.00 tip. The espresso drinks are also very subpar, I couldn’t even taste the espresso in the iced mocha, and I ordered an extra shot! Their large is also comparable to a medium anywhere else. The strawberry smoothie was good, don’t get strawberry banana, that tasted terrible, something about it isn’t right. I asked if they sold espresso beans, she sighed and said all we have is whatever is in the vault. All that was in the vault was coffee and it was pre ground, based on the drinks I’m pretty happy they didn’t sell me any. Parking is a mess, we were able to park at the meters on the street next to the shop. We won’t visit again and we don’t recommend.

Aegis coffee is in the old bank on the corner of E long ave & Brady st. The original vault is stocked with coffee and merch. So cool to see the massive door and the money boxes.

Right on the corner of main Street in DuBois is a great location for a coffee shop. It was a little hard with parking, the paid parking lot across the street has a difficult machine to use. The vault and setup of the interior has great vibes, it's a very neat place to go in and check out. None of the workers had masks on when I went in, at the end of December 2021. They do have nitro, and freshly roasted beans available for purchase, which I'm very excited to try. Payment was quick and easy with tap to pay and digital receipts.

The brunette with nose ring that served us was rude. Bluntly Claimed numerous times that she couldn’t hear what we were saying because my wife and I were wearing masks.
Good coffee, but unfortunately customer service is more important.
