Big Oak Cafe

This is a great restaurant. Their food is delicious. It is clean and well-kept. The service is fast. There's also a small grocery store attached to the cafe that has a very nice selection.

This was the first time I was ever here and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the MAINSTREAM – Half: $5.45 – Whole: $8.45 Roast Beef, Tomato, Red Onion, Mozzarella, Mayo, Brown Mustard, Au Jus for dipping on a Toasted Sub Roll. The sandwich was fantastic and came with a side, pickle and bag of chips. I chose the brocolli salad side and it was also delicious. The environment was very inviting and we really enjoyed our quick lunch here...I will be back for sure!

I’m incredibly irritated. My husband and I live about 45 minutes away from the cafe now, but we happened to be in the area tonight. We arrived at 8:45pm just wanting two single chai teas (since they have the best) to go. Went up to the door and the door that clearly has the cafe hours stated as until 9pm on Saturdays, was locked. There were two high school aged girls standing at the counter, and one at the front window standing there pretending not to notice for a while. I stood at the door. They finally looked at me and then quickly turned away. If a business is going to list their hours as open until 9pm, at the very least their employees should open the door when someone arrives 15 minutes before closing. We would have been in and out within 5 minutes. I grew up on the Butcher Shoppe and Big Oak Cafe once it opened and I’m extremely disappointed by their employees’ actions.

Pleasant friendly service. Tasty food, and surprisingly quiet despite the number of people here.

This is such a great breakfast/lunch place! They have lots of breakfast and other sandwiches, soups, salads, some desserts, and a huge drink menu. There's a lot of parking and the interior is nice too!

Nice little cafe. Great coffee and other beverages. Had a good lunch sandwich with great prices.

Great sandwiches and soup! Definitely a local favorite.

Best Orange mango tea ever!!

The food is superb, especially the pastries, but the reason I'm giving it 3 stars and not something higher is because of the small amount tables inside, which get filled very quickly. And while there are tables outside, they aren't really an option this time of year as it's been under 30 degrees on average every day.

Great cafe, great food, great environment!
