Best local coffee non chain fun to be in and make run on sentences about establishment in Pittsburgh. I think. Update: asked for complicated drinks and they were perfect with no judgements! Love this place!

Had some time to kill waiting for a table at Bakn so walked down the street and ran into this cute little place. It’s in an old post office building and there’s a little loft area upstairs that it seemed like they were setting up for a bridal shower. Grabbed a couple iced caramel lattes which were great minus one that seemed to be missing the caramel but it’s okay no biggie! If we weren’t going to brunch definitely would have tried some of their food. All sounded so good!

I drive 15 minutes out of my way every morning to get a coffee and sandwich here. Their Carmello (caramel latte) is one of the best in Pittsburgh. The Ashley's favorite breakfast sandwich and the Vegetarian Sandwich for lunch are my go-tos. Very friendly, down to earth staff. I can't imagine their a being bad review on this place. I visit it every day and I've never had a bad experience. I'm wondering if some of the bad reviews are mistaking it for another shop. Beautifully decorated and the best place to get work done. Cute little accessories/candles/shirts etc are for sale all around the shop as well. The owners did a beautiful job creating the perfect atmosphere with delicious pastries and food. My favorite spot in Pittsburgh!

Great coffee and atmosphere. Got the spring special lavender latte with oat milk and it was hot and delicious!

What a beautiful, well-designed space! Treat yourself and take time to visit this terrific coffee shop and linger...you will be glad that you did! The light is wonderful and there are welcoming furniture groupings throughout the space inviting one to read, work, chat, sketch, or daydream. The furnishings are varied, well-curated with a fine eye for design and comfortable. The menu and coffee are very good. This coffee shop has that special something that draws people in and invites them to come again!

Strong, hot coffee and lots of seating! My goal this week was to try one new coffee shop. Since I was in the area, I decided to give Carnegie Coffee a try. Situated right on a quaint Main street that runs through the town, I walked past it the first time, and had to backtrack, because I was looking for a typical coffee shop. This is in an old post office, providing a unique atmosphere. Very inviting, inclusive shop with a variety of coffee, tea and foods. Accessible ramp at entrance, with a restroom on the main floor. Books and artwork throughout the space. There's a seating area on the second floor as well, but I didn't check it out. This unique coffee shop is definitely worth a visit.

Really neat location. It's in an old post office building. Very comfortable atmosphere. Numerous rooms to sit in and an upstairs. My only problem was the girls working there. They were so busy chatting to each other that they forgot about my drink. I was standing at the counter waiting and didn't see either girl making my drink and the cup was sitting right there. I had to ask after standing there for 10 minutes and they said sorry they forgot about me. Not very good service. They just laughed and played it off.
