Tonight was my first time here and I was thoroughly impressed. The chicken tacos were incredible and our waitress was really nice. I enjoyed sitting outside with my friend. I will be back to try more items from the menu.

A beautiful historic home converted to a quaint cafe. There is an inviting and well-maintained outdoor seating area. The menu is vast and everything sounds so good! We ate salads and had cappuccinos and pastries afterwards. Everything was fresh and tasty. I will definitely eat here again and recommend to friends visiting Boiling Springs.

Stopped by in the afternoon for a coffee and muffin. Loved the atmosphere. Wandered inside and to the outside tables. We enjoyed the great weather in the shade.
Returned for a Hiker's Breakfast Plate. Love their breakfast menu. Great way to start the day. Hated to leave this setting for the trail.

Great ambiance in indoor seating or shaded outdoor patio. Located within view of scenic lake. Affordable prices. Long hours (open for dinner). Two free refills on my coffee. Generous food portions. Table service. Ice cream!

Lovely seating area with a great view of children's lake. The food is good and the staff is helpful and friendly. We had lunch which consisted of fairly standard Mexican food.
Sam Kell
Great coffee friendly staff. Mexican food that is out of this world.

Mexican dishes were okay, but lacked spice. Also prices were high and entrees didn’t include any chips or salsa to spice food.
Also when I paid with a credit card I noticed it was $2 higher than the bill I was given. When I asked they told me that the add that on when you pay with a credit card! Needless to say that would have been nice to know before they charged me…

We hiked from White Rock to Boiling Springs on a hot muggy day in June and stopped here for lunch around 1pm.
Counted 6 servers and 1 floor manager in the small restaurant. Plus coffee shop staffing in the annex.
No air-conditioning inside and it was sweltering hot on the patio outside.
Straight from the trail, we were hot, thirsty and hungry.
Our waitress gave us menus and took our drink order, left and never returned. After 15 minutes waiting for our drinks, literally water and soft drinks, we left.
We watched our waitress walk by our table 6 times, twice to serve 2 other orders, once to get the table next to us a box, then to pay their check.
The last straw was watching her carry a plate of sauces for another server as we sat and watched, parched, hot and hungry.
We knew she was new because we watched the floor manager type orders in and close a check for her. But obviously not paying attention to his new server's tables.
We wouldn't have mind waiting a little longer for our food but in 90 degree heat inside the building ice water would have would have at least given us a reason to stay.
