First time visiting here . Loved the atmosphere. The young lady who helped me was very friendly . Both the hot chocolate and blueberry coffee cake were EXCELLENT! Coffee cake was deliciously moist , full of flavor ! Hot chocolate was whipped up , at time of order. MOST enjoyable on a cold evening ! I highly recommend ! Thank you !

My daughter and I were visiting colleges her in Anville, PA. LVC staff highly recommended Swatara coffee. Since we are both coffee lovers, we tried this place. Their coffee was awesomely delicious! The young lady who helped us made our drinks was very nice and helpful as well. I end up buying another bag of coffee to enjoy this at home.

Stopped in yesterday while in the Lebanon, PA area for a couple days on a cross country drive. Service was great! I loved the space, especially the ceiling tiles, and selection of books from local authors. Super cool!

Some of the best coffee we’ve had on our trip we think - from Flagstaff, AZ to RI. Highly recommended.

The Laughing Dog

My favorite little brunch spot when I'm in town. Good food and the Watermelon Cucumber Mint Refresher always hits the spot. Nice shaded outdoor seating.

I was really disappointed to hear that a family member of mine was harassed today four times by the manager for having a service dog. I believe the manager is unfamiliar with the applicable laws and needs to read up on this subject, and furthermore the manager is a liability to the business owner. Per the ADA.gov website, "When it is not obvious what service an animal provides, only limited inquiries are allowed. Staff may ask two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform. Staff cannot ask about the person’s disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task."

John and Joanna Noll's website talks about "creating community" and to "treat everyone with respect", but they were on and off the phone with their manager at the time this was happening and the manager felt encouraged to go back and harass Melissa further. Melissa was asked to go outside, which is the same thing as being asked to leave. I don't care how polite they were pretending to be -- the time to inform someone a dog is not welcome in a restaurant is when they first walk in, not 20 minutes after the have been there. The fact that they delayed in saying anything shows that they were unsure of what the appropriate response was to handling the situation. I will give you a tip -- all you had to do was follow the ADA laws and thank her for her patronage!

I have read the email John sent Melissa and notice that he did not ask her to come back and did not offer anything to make up for the poor experience. He admitted to missing the mark, but I think he truly doesn't see or want to admit what that mark is and how far he missed it. I will continue to review this experience as details unfold.

I was working nearby and stopped in for my first cup of Swatara Coffee Company coffee with my husband and it was delightful! The store was super clean, and the owner(s) is/are obviously working hard to keep their employees and customers safe. They even have a table with blank cards to send veterans for the holidays! How sweet!!!

Thank you for being such an awesome and caring business!

This place is great. All I gotta do is walk in the door and they know exactly what I want every single time! Manager and staff two thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽. I don’t go anywhere else to get My Frozen Chai now!
Thanks for the great service we get!

So pleased that they have found another location right here in Annville. What a special treat. Was introduced to their black eyed special this morning. 2 shots of espresso in the house blend, honestly one of the best cups of coffee I have had in a long time. Paired with their steak, egg, and cheese sandwich made for a great breakfast. Do yourself a favor and make time to visit.

So this is my 3rd review, I think. I live near this place and frequent it often. After countless lattes and sandwiches from Swatara Coffee Co., I can say with certainty that their stuff isn't just good for a local shop--its great! I never considered myself much of a fan of BLTs or sandwiches in general, but I am OBSESSED with their BLT. I really want to know what spread they use with the BLT and similar sandwiches too! Even the apples they serve with their lunch items are fresh and delicious, not just an afterthought. You really don't need to go anywhere far for good coffee, tea, or a quick cafe bite in Annville--its right smack dab in the middle of town.

I love how friendly the baristas are! They always remember my name and my drink (tbh, I don't even remember what I always get). I also love how SCC sources many of their ingredients locally, so you know that you're not only supporting a local coffee shop, but also neighboring farmers, florists, bakers, sugarmakers, apiarists, and more. Pricing is good, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the mission shows they really care about the Jonestown and Annville communities. A+, five stars, two thumbs up, round of applause.
