Handy Creek Bakery and cafe

Overpriced for what you get. We ordered for takeout. The server suggested polenta bread but I requested wheat. They ignored my bread choice and gave me the polenta instead. It was so dry it crumbled all over the ground. (You're welcome, birds and small animals) So for ten dollars I got 1 thin slice of turkey, a sliver of tomato, a piece of cheese and a small handful of chips. I will not go back.

Fantastic pastries and bakery items!! Cozy place a little off the beaten path but worth it! The owner was very kind. Would gladly go there again when we're in the area.

I got an order to go and it was quite expensive for not alot of food. I ordered a mushroom and cheese omelet and it was lacking cheese. It came with toast and I chose polenta which was very very dry. Their baked goods looked good but we're a little overpriced so I did not buy any.

I had a delicious tart. The staff is friendly and the view is nice.

Very friendly service with great food and coffee. Cinnamon swirl French toast is excellent. Side note: Everything around here is expensive so pricing seemed on par with the rest to us.

This place is delicious and has a great view to boot. The staff are a local family and have been in the baking business for quite a while. They are friendly and the food is delicious. Highly recommended.

Other brkfst cafes were closed so stumbled across Handycreek. Cute, newly renovated cafe/bakery, great pastries (blueberry muffin fantastic ) and full breakfast menu. Great omelets. Recommended.
