Kainos Coffee

Ten stars for the excellent, friendly service. It's legit the best coffee shop in the Dalles & worth getting off the interstate for. Interior is light & cheerful, coffee roasted in house and very good.

Stopped on our way through to the coast for coffee and quick breakfast. Great service and food! Highly recommend, will stop there again!

Kainos Coffee takes The Dalles’ coffee culture to new heights. A true “third-wave” coffee café by day and pizzeria by evening, Kainos joins The Riv as The Dalles’ best third spaces in which to hang out, consume finely-crafted caffeinated beverages, and chat with the locals. Being a local myself, it’s encouraging to see these kinds of businesses taking root here in our fair city. Regardless, come by, have an excellent cappuccino or pizza (after 4 PM) and meet a new friend.

I love this place! So glad it's in The Dalles. Love the atmosphere and vibe and everyone who works there is super warm & welcoming.

As someone who enjoys craft lattes, freshly roasted central American coffee, and woodfired pizza, among other awesome baked goods, finding a place like this along my route was the best stop I made all day.

My coffee of choice is a Cappuccino a lot of shops I've found can be hit and miss. Kainos does an amazing Cappuccino, and if you're staying in, they put it in a tall glass. The taste was excellent without any bitterness. It's a neat space with good smooth music and I guess they do Pizza as well. I will definitely be coming back!

Always tasty pastries! Any spiral-biscuit thing they have is a must order. Need to come back and try their pizza.
