Although some customers have complained about the prices, most agree that the coffee is always the best and served to you by the best of the best people. The jalepeno sausage egg and cheese biscuit is the greatest fast food breakfast sandwich that customers have ever had. The Human Bean is serious about their food, and their entire menu is the best in the fast food business.

The Human Bean is also a great place for a coffee to get the day started. Customers love their seasonal drinks and the fact that they never try to push a tip like other coffee shops. That's what makes them deserve a tip. The coconut cinnamon latte is delicious, and the store is priced very well.

Hands down better then Dutch bro's better price better coffee less conversations just jumo into your coffee with a have a great day. Great staff at all locations remains professional and focusing on the hand at task. Which is making there customers happy without oddly talking to them about nothingness. Great job human bean!

Always so kind, and the speed of service is excellent for the morning commute. Plus, they have more espresso than other chains in their larger drinks which helps keep me going!

Only 2 cars in front of me and I waited 10 minutes for my turn. I asked for an iced white mocha. I was told they were all out of powder and only had syrup and if that would be okay. I asked for her opinion and she said, "I don't know. I don't drink coffee." When I was handed my drink, it was hot, not iced. She seemed annoyed to remake it even though it was her fault. I took a sip of my new iced drink at the window and it was not good. I was late for work at this point and drove off. I'll be returning my business to Starbucks.

Update: I was contacted by Lauren and she was very nice and understanding. Excellent customer service!

I ordered a total of three times. The first time I ordered two out of the three items of my order were messed up. I was missing an item and got the wrong flavor of biscotti that I ordered.
I called and spoke with Trinity who was very nice and understanding and offered me a comp for what I was missing. Second time I ordered was fine, and now the third time was a disaster. Not only was the employee very rude and short with me when I had asked for a simple request for my order over the phone ahead of time, But I had gotten an email saying that my coffee would be refunded and when I called to see what was going on I was told that they were out of one of the specifications for my order and apparently tried to call me three times. I never received a call from the restaurant, they were calling the number for the doordash driver…
Then after a few minutes of going back-and-forth they said they would put my coffee I had ordered with the delivery order and they never did.
The only reason I’m even giving a two star review was because of how nice Trinity was when I had called the other day. Aside from that whoever the employee was that was working this morning was extremely short and rude I am trying to get off the phone with me the entire phone call.
I work in food service as A general manager of a restaurant and I do not appreciate the service that I received.
There should’ve been better communication in the restaurant as well as a better effort to call me personally to let me know that they were out of a specification for my order instead of refunding the entire thing…

I've wanted to stick with them so bad, but service and product just keeps getting worse and worse. They are constantly out of something to make my drinks, or if they are in stock when ordering they only get it half right. I was super pumped they came to Springfield a few years ago. But I am just so disappointed now. Their drinks are no longer good and there are only 2 people there that are knowledgeable. They think they are a step up from Dutch bros but unfortunately I they are not. Wouldn't recommend.

I hate to write this review because I actually love The Human Bean but this locations evening staff really needs to get it together. I always order a granita with caramel. For whatever reason it’s watered down and tastes like they’re just running the same coffee grounds in their coffee maker whenever I get it during the evenings. This is the 5th time it’s tasted like this. No issues when I get them in the morning or afternoon at all however. I will also add it is a regular occurrence during the evening for them to make me the wrong drink. They’ll add whip when I don’t want it or hand me a hot drink when I ordered a blended drink and they will seem irritated when I say that isn’t what I ordered to the point that if it’s wrong I just go home and throw it away now. At this point I’m saying my farewell to my beloved granitas and will not be returning. :(

Love this coffee shop! I give gift cards to The Human Bean when patients refer their friends to our dental office, just down the street. They are friendly and the coffee is amazing. They aren’t “over the top” like some other local drive through coffee shops. Kind, courteous and delicious!
