Angeline's Bakery & Cafe

LOVE this place. I'm lactose intolerant and it is sooo hard to find pastries that are DF, but Angeline's has so many great options that are DF/GF/Vegan (and normal). I will drive well out of my way just to get one of their Vegan cinnamon rolls or other treats. Bagels are good, lattes are good, and the staff is very friendly!

Delicious! Small menu but cozy atmosphere and the cream cheese and bagels are the best Ive had in Sisters.

Their famous bagel sandwich is AMAZING! Love their pastries as well. Staff is always friendly. Due to current regulations, we simply ordered at the door and waited outside for our food. Wait was less than 15 minutes.

The wife and I tried their famous veggie bagel sandwich. We found it to be good, not great. The bagel was the real star. The place is tiny like most places it seems in Sister. Corn chips seemed kinda lame for a side.

Okay.... so I’m not one for reviews unless warranted but.... the staff member working Tuesday and Wednesday Jan 26-27 2021 at Angeline’s deserves 5 stars and then some:) my apologies for not asking your name.

Stopped for a bite on the way out of town, had the breakfast bagel and burrito to share. Bagel would have been ok if it had not been for the mustard, who in their right mind does that? The burrito was pretty bad. The tortilla was gritty, I am not sure whole wheat is a good standard on that one and the potatoes were severely under cooked, salsa was not bad at least. Coffee was hot, that's about all I could say.

Kudos on the variety of gluten free items....and all delicious.
Got my GF sister a GF cupcake for her birthday.
Would love it if I could have ordered a GF birthday cake instead, from them, but guess they don't do that.
The mushroom quiche was also delicious!

Best GF ginger snap cookies and the GF brownie is to die for. GF or not, they have some of the best cookies and brownies in the area.

If you're in Sisters and you don't go to Angeline's, consider it a wasted trip. I grew up in Sisters and have spent the last 11 years on the east coast - and I still have weekly cravings for this place.

I was pretty disappointed with my purchase here. I don’t typically write reviews but I felt that this warranted it. My order was all breakfast items: a bagel sandwich, a plain bagel with cream cheese, a mushroom quiche, a cinnamon roll and a marionberry coffee cake.

The bagels were good but the egg on the bagel sandwich was just...odd...slimey? spongey? Not even sure how to describe it but I picked it off and just ate the bagel. The cinnamon roll was okay. The quiche was slimy and watery and the marionberry coffee cake was totally undercooked with raw dough. I ate about two bites of the quiche and gave up and just scraped the berries off the coffee cake.

I’m only in Sister’s temporarily but I don’t think I’ll go back here..... :/
