Bagel Tree Cafe & Bakeshop

This place is great. They offer delicious bagels in 3 price classes. They are available as singles and dozens as well as plain or with cream cheese and other toppings. They offer to toast the bagels. The staff is cery friendly and careful to prepare a good bagel. The down site to that is the speed at which they work. Expect a wait of 5 to 15 minutes. If they fix this I will upgrade my rating to a 5 star.
Ad a tea drinker I am pleasantly surprised by the variety of tea available. They offer 2 different types of black tea, one green tea as well as several types of herb and fruit teas.

Have a good variety of delicious menu items bagels with basically whatever you want on them and delicious and even fresh. Definitely recommend stopping and checking it out.

Bagel Tree is a decent place that offers good bagels at a reasonable price. I work nearby, so often times I head over there for a quick bite. The breakfast bagels are really good. Coffee is ok. Not really what they specialize in. What shines here are the bagels, which come in a variety of flavors and toppings. Being a cheese fanatic, their cheddar bagels are dope.
Since moving here to Roseburg, my fiancé and I are impressed at the sheer breadth of great food options that are here. This town is really fortunate to have such a thriving food scene. Coming from the coast, there are way less options and you pay a lot more money for some of the same types of thing. For instance, there was only one place where you could get bagels, and it was never ever open. And if you were lucky enough to stop by when it was open, you were in for a less than stellar experience. The bagels were stale and lacked flavor. Every time I go into Bagel Tree, the staff are always friendly and attentive. The place is clean and well kept, and the bagels are fresh. I’m looking forward to exploring more of the local dining scene here.

What a local Gem! The Jalapeño and cheese bagels are the best I have ever had and they are super friendly and happy when you are here always very busy but quick to help and make your order exactly how you order it. Don't be intimidated by the line its worth the wait!

I've been coming here since high school about 10 years. I think it used to be owned by a man and possibly sold now to this woman. The customer service has never been great but it's like there is no standard anymore. I do like the Bagels but I often get ignored when trying to order. Or treated with such rush that I can't think or get a word in edgewise to order extras. And when you ask them to make you a drink or coffee they seem completely embittered. One day three staff were talking about another staff who was not present while making our sandwiches, I thought it was incredibly unprofessional. Also the woman in charge is often speaking with her friends and holding up the already congested line. As other reviewers mentioned, a bagel sandwich is the price of a stir fry or sit down restaurant entrée. I only go here if I feel like being hated early in the day.

I went to the Bagel Tree on Friday at 3:30 (03/19/21) and they were closed. I was confused because the sign said they were open until 4 so I called to see if I had to order for pickup. This girl literally tried to pretend it was 4 o’clock. I told her I’m looking at my phone right now and it’s 3:30. She told me it must be wrong because of the time change. She literally argued with me for a a couple minutes trying to convince me that it was 4 o’clock. Instead of just admitting that they closed their store 30 minutes early she tried convincing me that my phone’s time was wrong when it automatically changes when the time changes. Plus the time doesn’t change by 30 minutes, it changes by an hour. I couldn’t believe it. I use to love the Bagel Tree, but because of this experience I will never go there again.

Fast service and great food. I had the egg and cheese bagel and added sausage while my wife had the lox and cream cheese. The onion bagel was soft and toasted perfectly. We'll be in town 4 days and plan on breakfast here every morning.

I have been dissatisfied with the customer service since I first went. However, about a week or so ago I had the last straw when the food they gave me was inedible. There was brown water in the cheese cake, the brownie was hard as a rock, and the bagel dog was the wrong kind (a kind I am unable to eat). I reached out to them through email and never heard anything back. I do not recommend. My next call is the health department.

This place keeps me going, honestly. The bagels and cream cheese choices are delicious. I love the customer service, and the baked goods are so yummy. They make killer cheese cake and brownies. This shop is the best place to go for a lunch date. Thank you bagel tree!!!

This place has gone downhill in a major way in the past few years. My most recent visit was underwhelming at best. The dining area is absolutely filthy, not just a busy lunch rush dirty but more like nothing has been cleaned in months. The turkey they used on my sandwich was nasty and cheap and was a pinkish and almost translucent in color. Ugh gross! They need to shut the place down for a week, deep deep clean, and hire an entirely new staff including management, or they should just close all together if they don’t want to take pride in their establishment.
