Terrible experience. We traveled from the coast to visit Redmond and were super excited to see a fun donut place and support a local business. I never write reviews, but I don’t want another family to experience what we did.

The girls running it were incredibly unprofessional.

Eye rolls when asking for ice in my iced americano as it had melted and they didn’t add more, it’s no biggie I can add it myself I just wanted a cup of ice or something. The girls then complained to their friends in line about my request for ice making us feel incredibly uncomfortable.

Laughing in the back when someone called to ask if they had vegan donuts - this is a totally appropriate question for someone to call and ask.

Yikes.

They made us feel like we were an inconvenience for being there and made us regret our decision for trying this place out and super bummed to have wasted our last morning coffee here.

Side note - no dairy free options andddd it was an inconvenience to ask such a thing.

We feel bad for the owner. A new staff and this cute place would be wonderful as our food was great!

First off, both employees were unfriendly. Did not acknowledge us and no smile, no how are you and when we asked questions, the response was short, curt and again no smile. We ordered two maple bar with bacon. We get them home, NO BACON!!! I would rate the maple bars less flavorful than Fred Meyer and Safeway. Not even close to the Sister’s bakery.

We received no thank you, please come again, or any else. So, we won’t be seeing them again.

Ordered two maple bars (one regular, one with bacon) which were excellent!

I did also order an iced vanilla latte and I hate to say it but it was honestly the worst coffee I've ever tasted, possibly with one exception being coffee from a self-serve espresso machine in the hospital in Grants Pass. I've tasted lots of bad coffee before including a self-serve espresso machine in my office which I would joke was overpriced and it's free, but this was seriously bad. Coffee tasted very burnt and I only drank it because I hate wasting things (we ordered it to go). My wife tasted it too and agreed.

Staff was friendly and we would definitely come back for donuts or try a panini, just not for the coffee!

Updated: as per the response I got from the owner, I’m guessing. I see that the reviews are true about not taking criticism. As far as the date it was not today, it was a Thursday. And I don’t want a refund as you provided a product and I am disappointed but I am not going to take back what was given already. Don’t blame others, don’t make excuses… just be better. My review still remains at a 1 star for poor product.

this place is still horrible, had a friend that wanted donuts and told him Safeway or Walmart had
better donuts compared to this place but wanted
to try it so, we walked in about 11ish am and no
one there. place looked like a mess... finally got 2
donuts that tasted like sweet grease. gross, and
what I know the owner likes to blame others in
these reviews instead of taking the criticism. if
you want excellent great tasting donuts that are
unique go to the doughnut in bend.

I’ve been here twice so far, and I have to say the donuts are very good. So good in fact I have to be careful about ordering more than one, because I eat them too quickly. The shop interior is really cute, and the staff there is so nice and friendly. It looks like a great spot to hang out in the morning or for lunch. I look forward to trying more of what they offer.

We have been here twice so far and loved it! Every donut we had we really enjoyed and the staff was super friendly and patient. The donuts were fresh and had a slightly chewy center and crunchy exterior. Five stars for the chocolate glazed, sprinkled donut, and maple bar! Excited to get here early and grab a bacon maple donut next time!

Epic donuts best in Redmond for sure, maybe central Oregon. (Cake donuts are my jam)

Honeslty the best donuts I've ever had! This is now the only place I stop for donuts. They are so good you have to be an early riser to get the best pick! Always fresh, soft, delicious and great flavor combinations!

It’s so apparent that Halo donuts and deli is a family affair. A true labor of love. The owners are amazing.
With deep Redmond family ties, this family has come together to bring deliciousness to the corner of 6th and Evergreen. The donuts are fresh and amazing, their coffee drinks are so dang good.
It’s a family affair for sure and it’s evident the great pride they all have in bringing exceptional quality to us, the Redmond community.

Revised: I have visited a few more times and they have lowered their prices.

Original review: I checked this place out last Saturday morning. Arrived a few minutes after 8 to find line almost out the door. I purchased 3 maple bars, 1 bavarian cream, 1 raised glazed, and 1 cake donut with m&m's. This was $19.50! Six donuts for $20. Are you crazy? These are normal donuts, not huge and taste fine (nothing special, better than grocery store). I don't know if girl rang me up wrong or maybe I should have ordered a dozen since the menu says that is $20/$22. Older gentleman in front purchased 4 for $14. I am rooting for this business to succeed but very pricey.
