One of my top three roasters and coffee shops in the city. Used to be my local until we left the neighborhood after ten years in the hood. High service, high flavor, strong vibe. While their current location is awesome, I do have a nostalgic soft spot for their cozier if breezier first locations.

Had a double espresso with milk. The barista is great! From now it is a favorite place for me. They do have a wifi, and sometimes I like to check mails with a cup of double espresso.

Tried the Ethiopian and a single-origin S American drip. Both fantastic. Recommend the Fig scone too. Great place to work for a few hours.

I got tea and was not disappointed in the slightest. I love the atmosphere and the staff were very kind.

Friendly and helpful baristas. Beautiful, unique driftwood chair in one corner. Chaga mushroom latte....just get one! The description of chocolate notes and cinnamon bun flavor is spot on. Ethiopian for a quick cup. Two sidewalk tables and cheap street parking. Beautiful, glutenful padtries in the case. Vegans and gluten free crowd are out of luck on goodies. Typical latte and coffee prices with bags of beans to take home for around $13 a pound. If you haven't, do.

A cute well run coffee place with nice pastries and good people watching and dog watching.

Wonderful staff and great coffee every time. The single origin espresso comes nicely with seltzer and a small portion of drip, which I love. Only downside is there’s not a lot of power outlets, so it’s not a great spot to work, but perfect for just getting good coffee

Espresso made very well, a bit soury, like people in the us like. But not burned, and the taste is clear, which suggests of professional barista.

I miss this place so much. The best coffee I have ever had in Portland. I used to live around the corner and was a weekend regular when they were in that tiny, portlandia-esque shop behind Trader Joes, then moved to the current location. The owner and employees were always super nice and remembered your order. The best part is the reasonable prices. $2.75 for drip is the best deal in town. I need to stop back soon

Charming and spotless interior-had a mocha which was scrumptious. Small but tasty selection of pastries. The staff were friendly and engaging. Highly recommend!
