Spunky Monkey Coffee Kitchen

My new favorite place for breakfast. I ventured out looking for exceptional bagels and Spunky Monkey delivered the goods. The coffee is exceptional as well. They roast their own beans and you can taste it. Prices are very reasonable with a large coffee at $2.75 and large bagel sandwich with egg at $5. I can’t wait to go back.

Grey at Spunky Monkey was fantastic. Super helpful, funny and kind. His food and coffee were somehow even more amazing. 15/10 will go again!

Literally the most delicious coffee ever! Iced honey-vanilla latte with oak milk?! In a reusable cup?! Yes ma’am!

Tasty and strong cold brew. The breakfast sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had, amazing homemade sauce with perfectly smoked ham. Got a little messy, so be sure to grab napkins. Great customer service.

This is my favorite place to get coffee and sandwiches in portland. Sandwiches are absolutely the best ive had in town/the surrounding areas. Everytime ive been there it hasnt been busy at all so I'm hoping more people check em out!

Pro tip- hazelnut mocha

Got two 3 cheese basic bagel sandwiches, a honey-vanilla latte and a lavender-vanilla latte. The lattes were absolutely delightful and the bagels were super cheesy and delicious. The owner Gray is a lovely person and I almost wish we had a longer wait for our order because my wife and I had a great time chatting with him. All in all, Spunky Monkey is my new go-to coffee and sandwich stop. 10/10 recommend!!!

This place is great, a hidden gem. The guy who owns it (who is super nice and always a pleasure to visit with) makes homemade bagels on the bbq and cures his own meats for the place, and the food (and coffee!) is delicious. It's so tiny and so unassuming that I frankly don't know how he is making it, but I am really pleased to see that Spunky Monkey is developing a following. Stop here for a bagel sandwich, it's something special, trust me! It's so unique and cool that my husband and I try to get coffee from here exclusively when we can.

This place is awesome! The owner is friendly, spunky and helpful. He makes his own bagels! And coffee beans! And syrups! Probably a lot more. The coffee...SO good. I even had decaf. Shhhh. I got the everything bagel with bacon, egg and brie. Ugh...SO incredible. There are 4 or 5 tables to sit at outside and a small space inside. Highly recommended!!!

First time there- got a iced mocha with oatmilk. So good! Service was great and very quick. 10/10
