In J COFFEE

So pleased they have made it through the pandemic. I hadn't been downtown much since 2020 (!) but had reason to stop by today.

I was so pleased with my latte, the service, and love in this small space.

I can't wait to sometime visit the coffee lab and roaster (nearby).

Hope to be back again soon.

Five stars for the HK Milk Tea alone - far and away the best I've had in Portland. For coffee, the range of roasts they offer is a welcome change from the usual and their seasonal lattes are always unique and delicious.

I love the location and the coffee is yummy, but what makes this cafe so great is the baristas! Joe is always working so hard and going out of his way to help customers, and Ryan and Kassie (sp?) are always so sweet. I moved further away from the shop but still make a point to come back and see everyone as much as possible!

Seriously this place is awesome. I've been in many many times and love the diverse coffee selection and passionate staff. These guys really love coffee. I learn something new every time I go in.

They have the normal stuff you'd expect from a coffee shop in Portland (locally roasted beans and small treats), but what I appreciate the most about this place is their willingness to experiment with more exotic ingredients and ideas. They have an excellent milk tea that is perfectly refreshing on a sunny day.

As an avid coffee drinker and third wave addict, this is my new favorite coffee shop in Portland. It's simple and unassuming, has character that's totally authentic to the owner, they're super nice and unpretentious, and the coffee is just fantastic. Great rotating selection of tasty beans and they really care about their craft (aka no burnt milk here)!

Beans sourced from Asia and they whip up some incredible specialty drinks. The red date latte was extremely unique. Just the right amount of sweet using natural flavors.

Good bagel sandwiches with plenty of options, including a veggie patty (I'm assuming it's a breakfast sausage patty). The coffee is not to my liking but that's just personal taste, it's a cute lil spot.

I pick up drinks for my husband and I here every Thursday to help us get through the week. The baristas are so sweet, their specials are super unique and interesting, the decor is charming and cute, and it's just a lovely place overall. My favorite place to stop by if I've had a rough day ♥️
