Awesome owner and great community space. I went there wanting to work inside at a table. They don't have indoor seating currently, but the owner gave me great recommendations (and great encouragement) for where to go and get my work done! 10/10 vibes (:

This place has incredible espresso, the BEST chai I've ever had and they're genuinely friendly - not the highly caffeinated "friendly" you get elsewhere. I absolutely recommend!

Friendly, family owned business offering quality products, organic coffee and French pastries made by French trained pastry chef. Reasonably priced and fee refills. They've earned my business, they'll earn your too!

I try to find places that do not serve Oregon chai. I usually find places that serve Big Train chai which is better. I asked the owner here what she uses and she said she makes her own, I was excited. Then I asked that she sweeten it how she enjoys it and it is AMAZING! It's not overly sweet and is super spicy. I drink Blue Lotus at home, this is much better. I've had one homemade chai by an Indian friend and this reminded me of his homemade chai.

Visited the Broken robot for the first time today and man I sure am glad I did! The coffee was delicious and smooth, breakfast bagel made with love, and the ladies (mother/daughter) working the front were absolutely lovely. This spot will definitely be a regular rotation of mine. Don’t forget to get a bag of beans to take home- best prices I’ve seen. Keep it up, fam :-)

I really love this place. The people who run it are just so charming and the coffee is great and very affordable. House coffee comes with a refill. The pastries are good and i recommend getting their coffee by the pound.

I just "discovered" this coffee shop on SE Gladstone! What a treat!
The environs are super-modern, high ceilings, nice tablea outside where you can drink your coffee in peace, even in the middle of rhe Fourth Wave of this pandemic. They have a good selection of freshly baked goodies both savory and sweet but not overly sugary. Since you read all the way, I have reserved the best for last: This is one of the unusual places that still honor the free-refill!
Kudos to the Broken Robot!

Very nice place for morning coffee. The best name for a coffee shop IMO, because I feel like exactly like that until my coffee.

Not only do they have great coffee, but, the mother daughter team also makes the best chai I've ever tasted. And, if that weren't enough, they are also really nice people. And... My dog loves the treats. LoL...
