Aurora Coffeehouse PDX

My 8yo and I love visiting this little coffee shop. I have purchased gifts, and we stay sometimes for lunch and bring one of the communal games outside to the covered picnic tables. Both of us love the decaf honey cinnamon latte.

This neighborhood coffee shop is perfect for a walk and talk with friends . The open environment is very welcoming. You either want to get out of the cold or a great place to meet friends then this is your palace

I want to be able to support this local neighborhood gem so badly, but the attitude of the servers make it hard to do so. The cashiers act like they don’t want to be there - their immature behavior like blatant rolling of the eyes when asking about gluten free (I have an actual allergy…) and mocking me when getting the order wrong (they grabbed the gluten product and I jumped reminding her for the THIRD time). I keep trying to come here with my coworkers and girlfriends - certain staff though just really makes the experience not great. Please hire better and happier baristas.

I’m so glad I finally dropped by after driving by for a couple of years. Coffee and espresso drinks are great here. It’s a great atmosphere: friendly, clean, welcoming. This is a great spot for your daily coffee or for a coffee date.

This was heaven for me. The Mexican Mocha was very good.. I especially loved the peppery kick it had and it was sweet enough to cool the embers! I enjoy the sparse decor and it had enough space for customers to sit and chat or work, study, or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

This place is so cute and comfortable, it makes for a wonderful meeting place with friends. They always have something gluten free which is my draw to keep coming back. Plus the games are a fun bonus with friends who need a coffee shop date.

I normally really love coming here, but the last few times I’ve come in the service has been extremely poor. The staff doesn’t seem to have a clear understanding of what vegan means, although they offer a variety of vegan options. I’ve had to send back multiple sandwiches that I ordered vegan due to them being made on non-vegan biscuits. Lately, the staff has been rude or short, giving off extremely strong impressions that they don’t want to be there. As a fellow service industry worker, I understand having off days, but every single time I come in has felt off recently. I want to continue to support and enjoy this neighborhood gem, but the service has made it hard to do so.

Very cute coffee shop with great service and a good food selection. They special ordered the size of hoodie I wanted and gave me a great coffee bean recommendation based on my description of a friend. They even ground the coffee I bought for me. Seriously the nicest people.

Best customer service of any coffee shop I’ve been to. Moved here a month ago and every time I go, everyone is so kind and helpful. Had a last minute change to my order and they made it no problem! Coffee is incredible, bakery items are delicious, and the cheddar chive biscuits for their sandwiches are soooo good. They do sometimes get busy but if you remember they are taking the time to make incredible drinks, imo it is very very worth it. Super glad to have them close by!

Absolutely love this shop! Great coffee, incredible baked goods and most importantly service is top notch . Highly recommend you make this a daily ritual
