Ultralife Cafe & Coffee (Nye Beach)

Love this place and look foreword to going back next time we are in town. Gluten free delicious and safe! The employees are so nice too. So thankful there are places like this that feed celiacs.

They changed the menu, the lox bagel sandwich had half the amount of lox, but it did come with an extra "inflation fee" not worth the money anymore.

One of my favorite things about UL is the atmosphere. Really awesome location with an ocean view, vibey decor and great people! And to top it off the food is super hearty and well made and the incredible variety of drinks and pastries make sure I always find something I have an itch for!

Despite the embarrassing name, a welcome respite from the frigid Pacific breeze. Ice cream, espresso, bagels, and baked goods caught our attention. It's surprisingly hard to find a lox bagel in these parts, but they had one and it made my picky partner happy! Friendly staff.

Inadvertently walked in, apparently 10 minutes prior to their opening. Lights were on and door was open. None of their employees could be bothered to acknowledged us. The one wiping tables excused herself as she shoved by us. Thoroughly confused, we walked out. The chef or a member of their kitchen staff came charging at my wife from a back entry yelling at us to “go get coffee somewhere else.” Precisely what we were trying to do.

Apparently common courtesy is not a part of their business plan; not even a pleasant hello or stopping to inform us that they weren’t quite ready to open. However, accosting patrons for accidentally entering their establishment because they left a door unlocked and had our all their signage out is. What an absolutely disgusting display of aggression and incoherence.

I love this place. So cute. Every time I go they have new vegan options. Coffee drinks are amazing and unique. Love the food and cocktail night was awesome. Some of the best cocktails I have had. Everything is made with care and you can tell they put a lot of work into recipes.

Gluten/Dairy Allergy friendly!! I came to Newport for a bachelorette party with some friends and they ate at the Chowder Bowl, which I couldn’t have literally anything on their menu. This cafe saved the day! Their sandwiches were SO GOOD. Will come back.

We found Ultralife wandering around Nye Beach and it was a great experience. The hipster bagel, lox and bagel, and teriyaki bowl were all a hit. Everything on my hipster bagel was fresh and tasty! The honey bee latte (with oat milk) and Rogue beer on tap were also excellent. We will definitely return here!

Kathlena helps me to decide what coffee I should try, I like that when my indecision gets the best of me, whether it is a honey latte, or a matcha iced, it's always good. She is thoughtful to ask what kind of milk I prefer, plus she always is knowledgeable about the fresh pastries and I appreciate seeing her at ultralife cafe.

Came in earlier got the Caesar wrap it was sooo delicious!!!! My husband got the Caprese bagel this is gonna be my go to spot for when we go to walk on the beach! Great drinks and staff as well
