sandwiches, and soup in
a homey shop with antiques.

I looked over the baked goods
as I waited in line and
ordered a cinnamon roll,
brownie, coffee cake, and
a peanut butter cookie.

The cookie was sweet and
crumbly, the brownie was
huge and rich tasting, the
coffee cake had good taste, and the cinnamon roll was
soft and was not really sweet without the icing.

The bakery has cakes, cupcakes, breads, truffles,
and a lunch menu.

Located in Newport on
NW Coast Street near the
Nye Beach Arch and the Crowder Bowl Restaurant.

Such a darling little shop! Amazing food! Cinnamon roll was to die for! Coffee was perfect. They sell chocolates and other sweets. The shop has really neat antiques and Pendleton wool items.

I always rate my experience based off would I get in the car and drive over 5 hours to visit this place again? You are damn right I would! Insanely good cookies that melt in your mouth, fresh baked goods all from scratch. Mouth watering cinnamon rolls topped with sweet cream frosting and different miniature uniquely flavored chocolates make you forget there ever was a place called Sees Candies.... Walk around the cute little boutique shop with a cozy fire going and come back the next morning for made from scratch biscuits and gravy. This is a must stop if you are in the area. The owners both run the shop and the service was outstanding. I will be back here again and again!

Friendly; Wonderful Antiques, food, amazing!! giant cinnamon rolls & other wonderful desserts, & beautiful antiques for sale! They even have a few tables for you to sit down & eat; one is beside fireplace surrounded by antiques. We left a generous tip…& we saw these folks work hard.❤️

We travel Oregon extensively and I review many coffee shop/ bakeries; I've been to dozens, some good, some bad. I rarely give five star reviews, but in this case I'd give 6 if it were possible. The eclectic nature of the shop, the delicious coffee - just the right temperature, and OMG the cinnamon rolls! I was somewhat unimpressed looking at them in the case as they were not frosted - your choice of toppings is added after you order to keep the bun from getting soggy or the icing from getting stiff. Try the warm topping they pour on, it is the best thing this side of heaven.

We went back the next day for another, but they were closed (notice the part-time hours). We cried! Stood on the curb, two grown adults and bawled like babies (ok, not really), but it was close. Go try it; you owe yourself this.

Their cinnamon roll is the kind that’s not puffy. It’s giant and doughy. Cream cheese topping was great. Their indoor sitting scatters around the shop which seems a little confusing.

I reached out to the bakery to order a cake for my wife's birthday. They didn't have a lemon cake, but were willing to give it a shot if we were okay with that. I asked for cream cheese frosting which they normally don't make also. After chatting with Nick a few time, and he speaking with his Wife Ruby, we settled on a lemon cake, with lemon cream cheese frosting. I sent them a few styles of cakes of theirs that I liked the look of and said I like these, but ill give creative freedom. Now don't let the writing detour you. My wife is a huge Harry Potter fan. Originally I was going to have them replicate the cake that Hagrid gives Harry. However I decided to just ask for the writing on the cake to mimic Hagrids. And they nailed it. Beautiful cake with the writing of a 5 year old. This cake was dense, and soft. They made a lemon curd for the center which I had never had before. The cake wasn't gut aching sweet. It was perfect. The lemon zest in the frosting was just enough to say "oh thats fresh" and still let in the cream cheese frosting flavor come through. The lemon curd was this smooth creamy texture that when it hit your taste buds it gave the side of your tounge this quick tangy snap of lemon that you could feel into your jaw. It was the perfect balance of lemony tangy sweetness. Ruby did a beautiful job, and gave me more than I hoped for. It was definitely worth the 75 minute drive there from the valley.

And their brownies have to be the best Brownie I have ever had in my 37 years. Thank you Nick And Ruby for everything. You guys helped make her birthday an incredible day.

What a wonderful find! Mom’s recipes—every bite of dough in the cinnamon roll was perfect! Pillowy, tender, chewy and the frosting—oh my😍 Brownies must be illegal 😘. I waited to enjoy the gingerbread until I made whipped cream—best ever in my long life!! And the place itself—like a shopping museum. Nye Beach best shop ❤️❤️

The BEST cinnamon rolls of my life. They also created a masterpiece birthday cake for my fiance, with only a days notice! I called simply to see what slices they might have on hand, and she was like- "tell me what he likes, I'll bake it!" My birthday guy was the Captain of The Dessert Club in college, and was blown away by how perfectly decadent, rich yet light his chocolate peanut butter cake was. 🥇 This place has the friendliest and most talented service. You can tell they're quite passionate about what they do.
