Chapters Books and Coffee

Chapters is a long-time favorite of mine. I have spent hours sipping tea, reading, and visiting with friends. The coffee is excellent, the variety of teas is large and the bookstore is lovely and welcoming. Homemade ice cream is also available! Give yourself the gift of a visit sometime soon!

Cute coffee shop, good atmosphere, but the customer service is disappointing. On several occasions the barista was quite rude, which really is too bad. It ruined the experience and really makes me hesitate to return.

5 stars as long as you consider it to be q coffee and tea place and not a bookstore.

Book selection is held back by the fact that there's effectively no book organization other than splitting up between age groups.

Great tea and coffee selection, prices not too high. Obviously very popular with college kids looking for a place to study but has a large enough seating area it's not a problem. Looks like they put an effort into having lots of interesting events.

Y’all really gonna try and sell prepackaged/pre sliced bagels and doughnuts from Safeway and pass them off as local? Shame. Very disappointed. Only giving three stars because the ice cream shop is so good.

Always have, always will love this place. I enjoy a soy hazelnut mocha here, but everything is good. Especially the donuts! Shipped all the way from Portland every morning for freshness. 😍 The owners do wonderful things for the community.

I love Chapters. It's my favorite place for coffee in Newberg. Love the coffee, lots of tables, free WiFi and friendly service, with a nice selection of books. Even some products created by local artisans.

I’ve been coming here since I was little and always loved it. Over the past year (give or take) I have not had any good experiences. Cream is always great, but the Chapters employees are uppity, rude, and quite intense. It makes me sad that I don’t like going here anymore:(

I love my visits here! Always enjoy my vanilla latte as i read, write letters or color... A wonderful card selection with good prices. I'm not from Newberg so it's a great place to enjoy the atmosphere and be incognito for a few hours of your very own space. :)
