Mellelo Coffee Roasters Lear Way

Love this place! Was looking for something different when I visited from out of town and this place really hit the spot. Coffee was phenomenal and the atmosphere was quaint. Love the Christmas decorations and music!

This place was absolutely adorable and they really had it decked out for Halloween so we were happy to have found it. However, the staff were not engaging or friendly which made our experience so bad, we grabbed our drinks (which were delicious btw) and left.

This place is busy, almost always. So you may have to wait a few minutes before being served but it is worth the wait. The coffee is sjper fresh, the roasts are so good, flavor packed. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. It is hard to really stand out in the Pacific North West for coffee, mainly because these specialty shops are everywhere but is really good.

I got the ham and cheddar croissant.

They microwaved it and it was mushy, not crisp and flakey.
At $7 I expected it to be fresh.

Update!
I just returned for a second go. I loved that this time the cashier was transparent that their bagels were a day old and notified me they were half off without me even asking. She also refilled my water bottle at no extra charge. I love the shift to transparency!

They still have the best frozen hot chocolate of any coffeeshop! And they went out of their way to honor some obsolete gift cards I had. We sat outside in the sun. Nice outside area.

I come here regularly to meet people and to study. It is usually relatively quirky compared to other coffee shops and there is a cool little room partitioned off from the main area with a big table inside, which is really rare in a coffee shop and really useful. The coffee and smoothies are always delicious and the baristas are always sweet and patient no matter how long you take to decide 😂

This past weekend I went and checked out a number of little coffee shops like this, and this was a really good one that I've found, so I've decided to make a review on it. I got a peach smoothie, so there wasn't much coffee involved there, but it was a good smoothie nonetheless, so this gets five stars all around.

We have not had any good from here yet, but this is where we get our local roasted coffee beans. Their roasts are good, not oily and bitter like other roasters.

The sales person was quite helpful in offering more information regarding different roasts and grind my chosen beans as well.

Great atmosphere with top-notch service. I like the little nook to dampen the sound of the grinder when I'm studying. Comfortable for small meetings and catching up with friends by the fire.
