Have been going to various Ava's locations off and on for years now. Food and coffee are usually on point and enjoy the atmosphere. I like this location for its setup and nice view to the fountain outside. The employees are kind and make sure to take care of you. They don't mind a bit of small talk. Appreciate their latte art šŸŽØ.

Great job and thank you! šŸ˜„šŸ‘

2/4/22 Update:

Walked over to Avaā€™s today with my dog for a mid day break, and the first thing I noticed is that they have now put up tents over their outdoor seating so that it is covered and you can stay dry, even if it is raining. Nice touch guys! I really like this new feature as Iā€™m not personal eating indoors anywhere yet at this point, so I normally can only come hang out at your coffee shop in the summertime. So very well done.

I went inside and got a breve latte (pretty much my go to drink when I canā€™t decide what I want) which I must admit was ready much faster than usual, and then I just sat outside with my dog and relaxed for about a half hour. It was definitely chilly (heaters anyone?), but at least I didnā€™t have to worry about getting rained on.

This may not be the quickest place to get a cup of coffee, but fast doesnā€™t always equal great. And over the last few years, it has definitely become one of my haunts, especially in the summer since there is a ton of outdoor seating and it is walking distance from my house. I love taking my dog for a walk, then stopping in for an iced breve latte, and sitting out on their patio with a good book for a break in the middle of my work day. Itā€™s one of my guilty pleasures.

Lovely cafƩ with indoor and outdoor seating. The Apple Strudel was delicious and so was the Americano. Definitely a nice place to enjoy your coffee while working. Or just to catch up with a friend.

Barista didn't know how to make a cappuccino. It had way too much milk, it was basically a latte. The not too friendly staff weren't helpful and didn't seem like they wanted to be there. The store and outdoor area is nice but their coffee was bad.

They sell roasted bags of coffee for waaaay too much money. You can get better coffee for cheaper from Peet's or Stumptown. Or, you can just go to Starbucks which actually had better coffee then Ava (which is saying something).

I would not go back.

Today was my first day trying Ava Roasteria. I did not get to physically view the location, as I ordered from Doordash during work. Their matcha latte was adequate for a pick-me-up, tastes like most matcha lattes that aren't Starbucks (which is good, because I am not a big fan of Starbucks). I was quite impressed with the cup, which looked a lot nicer than most disposable cups I've seen from smaller companies.

But what really impressed me was the Dad's Delight sponge cake. I was a bit grossed out by the dessert being really wet due to being soaked in rose water, but it was moist and tasty. Cardamom is one of my favorite ingredients ever to be included in desserts, and it tasted great in this treat as it wasn't too overpowering. Also, I hate sponge cakes that are too sweet, and this one was just right. The pistachios on top were like the icing on the cake. And for only about $4 too! I'm salivating right now just thinking about the cake, I wish I had more.

Great little local coffee shop for sure. I got a large cold brew which was plenty big but also pretty pricey - $5.80 or something. Coffee tasted great though so worth it in my opinion.

Great set up for social distancing- thereā€™s plenty of outdoor seating, and itā€™s in a nice sheltered area away from the sidewalk and road. The tables are actually more than 6 feet apart! My only complaint is that it would be nice if the WiFi was strong enough to be reliable outdoors.

Wasn't crowded when we were there on a weekday at 9:30 am.

Decent assortment of breakfast items.

Price is reasonable for a large size of iced latte. This shop is right next to the entrance of the plaza.

We paid $12 and $13 for sandwiches that turned out to be kid size and subpar quality. Bf got a coffee, he said "the coffee is mid" and I had a peach italian soda that tasted like generic peach rings, not great.
