Arrowhead Chocolates

A buddy and I were in Joseph over the Chief Joseph days weekend. We were there hunting fossils in the Wallowa Mountains nearby. I dropped by Arrowhead within minutes of their opening as these beautiful people were getting set up for what would be a very busy day for them. When I say beautiful, I mean in both physical terms as well as personalities. I thought I must have died and gone to heaven. The baked goods were fresh out of the ovens and the chocolates were so tantalizing. Coffee was brewing and my hunger for food and conversation was paramount. Food was so fine, the coffee delightful, and the conversation and contacts divine. Thank you Arrowhead for awakening my day.

Always a lovely experience. The staff is kind informative, and the chocolate is some of the best I've ever had. Locally sourced ingredients to boot. Would definitely recommend.

Remember when your mom let you lick the spoon after mixing up cookies? Well, order a hot chocolate from here and you'll go back to that happy place. Also, their lavender truffles are out of this world. :)

A mandatory stop for my family when we visit Joseph. Everything about Arrowhead shows how much the proprietors care -- about chocolate, about tea and coffee, and about happy and relaxed customers. They specialize in truffles with distinct and creative flavors -- many of which are distilled from the unique setting of the Wallowa Mountains and Valley. Try their Douglas Fir Dark Chocolate! And if you like frothy capeccinos, theirs are unsurpassed.

This is now a must stop on our vacations. We LOVE this place. They're incredibly welcoming, the staff is very friendly, and their selection of handcrafted chocolate and decadent coffees are to die for.

Very nice people, great playlist, good coffee. I didn't try any chocolates but they looked adorable. The cowbay hat and boots especially.

Super good!!! I got an iced latte with the caramel syrup made in store and It’s so good!!!! The store is so open and inviting! Definitely check it out :)

Such great coffee, especially mochas and hot chocolate. The chocolates are also good, but I'm my opinion not as good as the coffees.

It's like walking into a shop just like you'd see in a Hallmark movie. Their prepared chocolates, biscotti and other munchies are ever so tasty. Coffee made to order. Staff is friendly and helpful. A must stop when in Joseph.
