Love supporting this place! Coffee, cocktails, food, merchandise, all of it! One of the best places to grab a drink, sit outside and chat it up with some of the greatest people in one of the greatest towns in Oregon. The family is simply amazing and it brings joy to my heart to see this place continue to survive the tough times. A true a heart and soul of the town.

Service is so slow. Went on a Sunday afternoon and we were the first in line and after 15 minutes and no help we left.

I usually go to the West Salem location but I stopped into the independence location today for lunch. I’m obsessed with the spicy pasta salad at both places but I did love that the independence location was close to shops, the concert venue and the waterfront. Nice to sit outside here and watch people come in and out of the park with their dogs, etc.

Great spot to get your coffee fix! Beer, cider, wine, and a few cocktails will also tickle your fancy.
There's a variety of food options including light snacks near the counter.
Conveniently located near the waterfront park. Plenty of seating outside for numerous groups. Within ear shot to enjoy the various events which occur at the park.
The management is caring and kind; employees are treated well. They take the health and safety of their employees and customers very seriously.
I highly recommend!

I got the Italian stromboli and not worth the price, the bread tasted like a hot pocket dough but dryer. The inside was overloaded with an off tasting salami

Coffee was absolutely magnificent. Nice seating areas inside and outside, though the inside seating is currently closed due to the pandemic. There are games you can play while waiting or while enjoying your coffee. Good selection of flavors.

Great coffee. Food is ok. Service is nice. But you expect a coffee place to smell so amazing. Fresh brewed coffee, baked goods. But it always smells like they’re cleaning an oven in there. It’s a huge turn off. Not sure what makes that terrible smell but they should figure it out or at least try to put some candles or air fresheners in there to help.

Ordered a decaf, whole milk, half the pumps of vanilla latte... And it was excellent! Nice quality espresso and perfect for my special order. I recommend their coffee!
Warm, casual, country atmosphere. Serves beer, desserts, and meals.

This place is locally owned. It offers great service and very friendly counter help. The food is not made in store but is cooked in store. Judging from the fries that we had I'd say they choose high quality restaurant food to heat and serve. There is a variety of seating for every person. There are two large tables that appear be able to seat 8 comfortably and ten uncomfortably. There is an outside patio with picnic table and metal table options . It looks a good spot for dog walkers to take a little break and have a coffee or beer . There appear to be plenty of plugins for computer users. There is a mixed gender bathroom that most likely will accommodate a wheelchair but not a motorized device. All in all I'd recommend this place and I will stop in again myself when I'm in the neighborhood.

The location, service, and environment inside and out was nice but the food was terrible and overpriced. Most menu items are re-heated in a microwave and the wrap I had was bland and mainly spinach leaves. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years and they can do better with the food.
