Longbottom Coffee & Tea

Today 3/1/2023 I bought 2 breakfast burritos & 2 coffee drinks. I was (until today) a big fan of longbottoms food & drinks, but something had changed. I have not been to longbottom for a while due to the fact I'm not in their area often anymore but felt like having their food this morning, but what a disappointment. The coffee's were good but the food was way under cooked, the burrito for my son which I had them substitute the bacon for sausage, he said was very nasty & the meat seemed not properly cooked all the way, he through his burrito away. The veggie hash burrito was ok, not as good as I remember. I had the red potatoes substitute with hashdrowns & ask for extra crispy hashdrowns for both burritos but they seemed as if they where just thrown in the microwave to heat up, therefore was just mushy, no crunch & uncooked texture, since my hasdrowns on my burrito was in poor form, I am sure the hashdrowns on my son's burrito was just as poorly done. Maybe they have a different cook than they used to have, but what a shame, I won't be going back there anytime soon, if ever that is how bad the food was & I won't be recommending them to others anymore.

Second time there and I enjoyed it each time. It's much larger inside than it appears from the outside.

Last time we ate there my wife vomited from their potatoes. Their coffee is also burnt worse than starbucks. Absolutely weird place and now this. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

These folks always have such great service. The employees never have treated me like I was an annoyance, have always made great eye-contact, and the coffee is the best price/quality around. Love this place.

Hillsboro staple. Affordable and good brunch vibes with a solid amount of people but never packed. Their bagged coffee is very good and I always grab a bag. Stop eating at other overpriced brunch locations and start eating here where the food is quality!

Good coffee shop! Stopped while on the road for some coffee and bought some beans to go. Also a restaurant with plenty of seating.

The food and prices are great but sometimes the wait time between payment and food is too long...like 20+ mins for a sandwich.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to write this review. I'd love to take an opportunity to boast about this business and how tremendous it's been for our lives.

Fun fact: Did you know that Longbottom sponsors fundraisers for school extracurricular activities/organizations? About 3-4 years ago my wife, who is a band director, was at a gathering which consisted of people who are in the music world. She was approached by someone from Longbottom, and talked to them about potentially making LCT their new fundraiser sponsor. My wife fell in LOVE with LCT. Honestly I don't think she loves ME as much as she does this coffee, and we've been together almost a decade.

Within the year, her school band switched to LCT as their sponsor and it has gone over like gangbusters. EVERYONE who's tried this coffee has loved it, and the parents and kids rave over this. They consistently break records every year for money raised, and it's been tremendous to watch true excitement come into this event. On this years order forms LCT is giving this band their "own blend" (probably just a rename but it's great for the kids to use as a selling point!) . This company, from OREGON has changed lives of people here in Houston, Texas.

It gets even better. Remember that part where I said she loved this coffee more than me? We literally took a vacation, at her behest, last year to Portland to "see family and friends" but that was just a cover story to visit the store and get coffee. We went home with 9 bags, and it was absolutely worth it. She swears up and down by this place and product, so once again: Thank y'all for being as great as you are, and doing everything you do!
