Not crowded and very slow service. Understaffed and we ordered egg and toast. Restaurant has no jelly and the got sauce is expired. Somebody ordered pancake and it was 1" thick and look like it was a bite and they left.

Wow, this restaurant must not need repeat business! I actually ate here several years ago and remember it being a good experience. Not so recently. First, the sign on the door said something like, “Masks are required, but it’s not my rule.” Okay. Wear a mask or not? Walked in to check it out since rules vary from place to place. Happy to comply; just need to know. We were greeted by a very rude “You have to wear a mask to be here!” Okay, so my mom and I complied. My mom ordered a plain hotdog with mustard and onion. She stated this twice. Her hotdog came with a bottle of mustard. She asked again for some onions and the guy said there were no onions, which he had failed to say when she ordered. I asked, “You don’t have any chopped onions back there?” Nope. Seriously? Lots of items on the menu included onions! The French dip had a weird taste and so did the fries, like maybe the oil needed to be changed. We weren’t served any silverware so I ate my fries dipped in ketchup with my fingers. Neither of us finished our meal. Won’t be back. Sad, it used to be a great roadside diner.

Dirty, expensive, small
portions. I had a turkey sandwich and there was perhaps 2 oz of turkey on stale bread. Tomato, lettuce, and mustard were okay.

Very bad person with no education at all. Don't stop there

Stopped on a Wednesday evening ready to spend some money and support this business. We were on a semi truck with very tight space due to snow accumulations and made a U-turn in front of the muddy parking lot. It did have some tire marks but it wasn’t a big deal when a man with a miserable attitude came yelling and cussing for “tearing down” his parking lot.
I tried being the biggest man in the room and answered courteously but the man insisted and kept on cussing as he walked away. I’m
Not genius it’s just not a way to treat customers.
Me and dozens of truckers I know who travel thru here weekly will never spend a dime on your poorly managed business. Trust me I’ll make sure of that.

I have been here many, many times over the years and have always loved the food and the friendly service. The day after Christmas, however, was a disappointment. The cook, who was the I my one there, was surly and rude. We waited 25 minutes for our order, outside in the cold and when it came, the fries had obviously been cold at aome point and refried. They were inedible and when I asked him to make it right he only took the box of fries and turned back to the kitchen, no apologies or anything. If you want good food and service this IS THE PLACE TO GO. Just make sure this guy is not on duty. This is the only bad expwrience I've ever had there. I recommend this cafe to everyone.

This little cafe was not the cleanest looking place to eat but the food was really good. I had a chance to chat with the cook who also took our order... she was awesome, she cared about her customers...she was a sweetheart.

Nice quiet little spot in a place you would least expect. Nice quaint interior that is clean and well lit, as well as right near the main road. The food is awesome and you get a lot of it. The burgers are juicy and cooked to perfection. The have a peg game on the tables so you don't get bored while waiting on your food. I won't hesitate to stop there again as I travel that way again.
