Looney Bean of Bend

Stumbled on this little coffee shop at one end of Drake Park during a visit to Bend. The location is absolutely lovely. They have a very nice and huge patio area overlooking the river. you can have your dog with you in the patio which makes this my favorite place in Bend! The service is excellent, staff are very friendly, polite and patiently answered all my questions about their various drip coffees. Tried the Brazil, Nicaragua and Black Diamond drop coffees. Loved all three, although Black diamond is my new favorite. I visited this place twice during my two day stay at Bend and will definitely revisit if I stop by Bend again.

My partner has been telling me to come here for a while, and I see why now. Great back area(view!), nice people, reasonable prices. Favorite coffee shop I've found in Bend after a month and a half.

Absolute delight - beautiful spot, and really good coffee. There's a beautiful backyard with the view towards the river at the back. Very good system for social distancing. Would come back every time!

Looney Bean is tops for location location location! Right on the river with patio seating and a beautiful inviting lawn.

Good cold brew. A bit watered down so only 4 stars. I was surprised by this since they roast their own beans. A splash of hemp milk added some flavor.

Lady with long dark hair was not very welcoming or engaging but oh well. She was prompt with my order and I was in my way out the back for to enjoy the sunshine.

Cute interior with plenty of seating if weather needs to keep you inside.

So many coffeehouses in town so hard to choose. Maybe not my fav cold brew in awhile but ohhhh that location...

Kosh atmosphere, cozy and inviting. Enjoy your coffee on the couch or in the pet friendly backyard. Coffee done the way it should be. Traveling from WA state to CA and had to stop here before leaving our motel in Bend. The name was enough to peak our interest, and it payed off. 💯

Amazing coffee and pastries! We loved sitting out back, watching the river. This will be our go-to coffee spot in bend!

An absolute delight!!! Above & beyond customer service, genuinely happy employees offering excellent friendly advice on what to eat, what to drink, and how to make your drink exactly the way you'll love every sip. Lots of non-dairy options for milk and they food was divine. Amazing views of the river down below. I loved every bit of this stop while traveling through Bend, OR.

Always love going here! Not only do they have great drinks and an awesome selection of local bakery treats but they have some of the best real estate in all of Bend. THE best patio/grass area right on the river. Highly recommended!
