Excellent coffee, quick shipping, I got mine shipped 2,000 miles and was just roasted within the past day or two! Also appreciate them shipping mug and coffee separate from poster. Will buy from here again, tastiest dark roast coffee in Portland.

Nice little shop. I'm personally not a fan of the coffee, but it is well made and they are very good at what they do.

This place goes by Edge coffee as well though for some reason Google maps refuses to show that. Really good coffee, big, airy spot where you can truly practice social distancing and abundant vegan options for both coffee and food. Must check out spot for coffee lovers.

Decent coffee but having Google maps guide you here is confusing cause the names don't match.

I used to live very close to this coffee shop and have always loved the coffee and the staff! I recently started visiting again and the service has dropped significantly. Each time I’ve gone, the staff member is short with me, forgets I’m waiting for my drink, and has made my drink incorrectly. It makes me sad to see because I’d prefer to support local businesses. I cannot stomach another poorly made drink, unfortunately.

The staff is so nice, they have a great coffee and tea selection, and their snacks and food (its prepackaged but really good and they'll even warm it up for you!) are great. It's a cozy space, too!

I started ordering from Sauvie Island Coffee during the first covid lockdown. I appreciate that they went out of their way to continue to get coffee to folks safely. As others have commented, the bags are always freshly roasted and shipping is fast (and through USPS at time of review). I appreciate that they make efforts to source beans ethically and that the growing and cleaning processes tend to be environmentally friendly. Once I accidentally ordered in store pick up instead of delivery and they shipped it to me quickly and free of charge when I called them and informed them of my error. In my last order I received a note thanking me for being a consistent customer and offering free shipping on my next order in exchange for writing a review, that is the prompting for my writing this review. That being said, I do enjoy their coffees and the bird characters on their packaging. Their coffee shop in Beaverton has decent vegan food options which is pretty cool. They also continue to improve the roasting business website, in that they keep adding details about the flavors of the roasts and improving navigation between roasts. Packaging has fluctuated (maybe because of availability during the pandemic) between paper that is *I’m pretty sure* compostable and heavy plastic. I try to minimize plastic packaging as much as possible so my preference is for compostable paper packaging. Though with my experience so far I can’t say what the intended packaging is, compostable packaging would fit their mission and ethos better.
