Some of the best fish and chips on the oregon coast! Great atmosphere and service. Trying to find when there open can be difficult but ic comes with the territory
When I went to Bow Pickers in 2012 it was a full 5+ Stars, and I would say that it was the best fish and chips ever, maybe some of the best in the world. It was the best that you could imagine; good enough to wait more than an hour just to place my order......
Now, fast forward to 2022 and it went down hill. The portions got alot smaller. The quality of the fish is now sub-par, flavorless, and tough. The fish is no longer flakey, moist, tender or bursting with flavor. The quality of the fish 🐟 is so bad that it could be comparable to racoon roadkill. The batter on the fish was not very good, but that could be due to the oil not being very fresh or they changed to a lower quality oil. The tartar sauce was warm and the flavor was not good enough to compliment or cover up the bad batter or sub-par fish. The fries were okay, but you hardly get any for the price you pay.
Overall, I would say that it is now over priced for what you get; smaller portions, tough flavorless fish, and insufficient oily batter.

Best fish and chips EVER! Firm fish and the batter melts in your mouth after a nice satisfying crunch.
