Simply the best coffee in Albany, no question

We’ve been going to “the girls” aka Spirit Espresso for years now! They are the best. We’ve met so many great girls working at this place. Wonderful examples of kind, caring customer service! Best drinks in town! Emily is amazing! She’s definitely a great leader for the newer girls! Love the respect of our service members they’ve shown to me personally! Thank you for being a shining light as a #1 business in our community. Btw we’re the his/hers Subaru’s.

I'm editing this review because I no longer go here. They took away their happy hour and are no longer the cheapest coffee place in town they are as expensive as everyone else. They do regular events for charity which is awesome but there are closer coffee shops and being more expensive than some of the other coffee shops means I no longer go here. I do wish them the best.

I have to give these people 5 stars. Not only was my mocha pretty much perfect, they had two staff working (most of the small shacks only have one....and it takes ages to get my drink), and the girl didn't pretend to care about me. She was sincere and had a kind smile as she served me.

I’ve been hitting this little coffee shop for a couple of years, and always a positive experience. Today they realized that they had overcharged me by $1, and apologized like crazy. I wouldn’t take my $1 back, told em to keep it!

Delicious and happens to be right on my way to work. Staff is friendly and really patient on those mornings when I'm still not awake from the lack of caffeine. Easy access location. This coffee shop also supports a lot of local causes.

Blended chai is the best in town 😍

Good roast, plenty of alt drink choices. Plenty of baked goodies to chose from. Fairly consistent drink quality output. Their hot chocolate is the best!

Somedays the drink is perfect! Somedays too sweet. Somedays not sweet enough. I have been a batista in the past and I totally get that different baristas do things different. However I need to know that if I get a hazelnut mocha on Monday I can get that same hazelnut mocha Friday.
