ButterSweet Cupcakes

First time here and it won’t be our last! The lady who helped us was SUPER nice and extremely helpful. The store front was cute! They had a lot of flavors and items to choose from as well as coffee items! I will have to come back and try those. We bought 2 variety mini cupcake boxes since we wanted to try all of their flavors. Their cupcakes are PERFECT! They are light and fluffy and the frosting is JUST RIGHT. It’s not too sweet and is very silky as well as flavorful. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying some cakes too. One thing that stood out to me was the little flavor card to tell which cupcake is which!! That was pretty awesome. Thanks again for such a lovely experience.

You are greeted with a delicious smell of fresh pastries as you enter this small cafe. You are also greeted by a pleasant server. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing. We stopped by here as we're passing thru the city, but if we lived here I'm sure we'd be visiting often.

I don't understand what happened to the customer service here. It used to be outstanding and the cupcakes were beyond delicious. Now, it's a toss up between big box store cup cakes and Buttersweet. I'm leaning toward the big box store because their frosting may be better. I will go here again and update my review. I refuse to believe this poor experience is the norm.

Ordered a Mother’s Day gift box
(It had 8 cupcakes and 4 cookies)
The cupcakes were kinda dry and it’s funny that with one of the cupcakes you could see where they scraped off icing that was on there before and put “new” icing on it to match the others. So who knows how long that cupcake was fresh. Kinda disappointed, the Mother’s Day gift box was NOT worth $50 in my opinion. But I guess you gotta do what you gotta do to save money to pay your employees. Very overpriced for dry & hard cupcakes. Every time I go in there, all the employees are in the back? Don’t get that

We ordered a wedding cake from them and when it showed up on our day, it was just a white cake with ZERO of the decorations OR design that was supposed to be on it. Just a plain cake and a slap on the face. Considering how much I spent on this plain cake, I highly recommend to NEVER use this place for any event that holds importance. If I could, I’d rate them a ZERO.

With cupcakes being in the name you'd think that they would be great but they were average at best. The cake was dense, the frosting was overly sweet and almost grainy from the amount of sugar, and the flavors werent any different from the other bakeries in town. The did have a specialty cupcake but I didnt get one because they had chicken on top, which wouldn't be a big deal but their cupcakes sat out on an open countertop, I guess they've never heard of Salmonella. To top off the experience the young girl that "helped" me was quite rude. I don't understand why this place was recommended to us but we definitely won't be back.

There was very little product up front when I walked into this store this morning.

The attendant that was in the back told me don't worry we have fresh stuff in the back we just decided not to make any until now and it was 10 o'clock.

I said fine bought two.

I'd have to say a little Debbie cake from 711 is better than these things. The chocolate one very dry the muffin top part hard the bottom dry.

The vanilla may be a little fresher but hard to tell because it wasn't very good.

What it looks like to me is they just took frosting and put it on stale cake parts and assumed the customer wouldn't notice.

Yuck.

This cake from ButterSweet was vanilla and strawberry with a cream cheese filling. I was able to get this as one of their available to go cakes for a friends birthday! It was wonderful and one of the best cakes I’ve ever had from a bakery!

Wife and I love baked goods. She is Gluten free and thought we would try this spot. Very disappointed in the quality of cupcakes and service. Dry cupcakes, un-attentive employees . Hope the new owners can do better.

Had a wonderful Latte here on Sunday afternoon. staff was very friendly! can't wait to try to cupcakes!
