The biscuits and gravy are always a good choice but need to be served hotter, the biscuits were barely warm. Other dishes were served at the proper temperature. Both locations have good service but the 11th & Yale location has friendlier and more attentive service.
All in all, it was still a nice dining experience and I will be back.

Would have probably left a better review if the 2 waitresses assigned to the upstairs would have acknowledged our existence. Unfortunately we sat there for over 5 minutes without a drink order even being taken, while both waitresses continued to take orders & make eye contact with me while they just skipped the table.
We were excited to try the place.

A friend and I were on our way back home from visiting Osage Casino and we're getting hungry. As we were driving south on Yale, I told my friend "Hey There's Tally's let's stop and eat" it had been at least 2-3 years since I had eaten there last. It was the best decision ever. We were immediately seated. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer first which came out quickly. Then soon after came out dinner. We had fried green tomatoes for starters. I ordered chicken fried steak of course. The food tasted terrific and the service was great!!! I recommend Tally's for great service and excellent food!!! 😁

Cinnamon rolls are the best!! The food wasn’t too bad, and the service was great. Would definitely come back.

The food was pretty good, other than there was an excessive amount of oil on my plate. As if the hash browns were deep fried. I enjoyed the setting very much though. Definitely wouldn't mind going back.

What a cool local mom and pop restraunt on old Route 66. The staff is very friendly, and the food was hot and very tasty @ a modest price. Thanks Tally's for a great dinning experience.

Danielle had our crazy bunch. And she was spectacular. My husband had left his phone and wallet in the bathroom and we called when we got home, the restaurant was closed but she was still there and she brought it to is. How awesome it is that there are still really good honest people in this world. May God truly bless Danielle.🙏

Worth visiting for the nostalgia. The food is better than most diners. The breakfasts are recommended.
The place could use a good cleaning, and having Halloween and Christmas decorations up in March just looks lazy. It's perfectly sanitary, but it's showing its years.

Be patient if they're busy, it's worth it. Had dinner and saw the cinnamon rolls, so I went back the next morning. They grind their own coffee beans. They use coffee in the icing for the cinnamon rolls instead of milk. So delicious.

Straight ahead good food prepared and served with care, and if you’re a chicken fried steak fan you’ll thank me. The servers are friendly and professional, quick with a smile and your refill.
A corner diner with convenient hours.
